"We're extremely pleased with the H-145 model (originally $169.99). Purchased one eight days ago, and it's been running non-stop for less than a week, and I've placed an order for a second one! I've only tried the lowest setting, so the noise is so minimal-- a very, very soft hum and is very comforting. While we are non-smokers that do not have any pets, we have noticed a change in the air quality inside our home!
Hoping the filters and UV bulbs last for a long time, since I was only able to find UV bulb replacements (and not the HEPA filters, nor the washable filter) at the link that the manual mentions. We're hoping to be able to locate these items elsewhere online when the need arises.
