"I purchased this same unit about 6 months ago. We have water with a lot of calcium in it. The unit worked very well at getting the humidity up, but now the motor seems to be having problems. Going to give it a 2nd chance and hopefully by changing the filters more often it will last longer. Did stop the severe nose bleeds I was having. We changed the filters approximately 2 times a month, then couldn't find the filters in local stores. The water isn't flowing through and then the filters get dry. We fill the unit every evening as we run it 24/7."
