"I purchased the Honeywell Portable Wireless Doorbell Series 9 for my new house. What a neat product......a choice of 9 different chime sounds, not to mention that the base unit lights up to alert me when someone rings the doorbell. This is a great feature because sometimes I have my music or television volume cranked up and don't always hear when someone rings my doorbell.
I ordered a second push button to mount at the side door. A couple of days after placing the order for the button in white (which is the color of the button that came with the initial product), I realized that the black button would probably look better at the front door, and I would then be able to move the original white button to the side door. All of this to say.....After realizing that I maybe ordered the wrong color, I called customer service and since the white button that I had ordered had not yet shipped, the customer service rep that I spoke with was more than willing to change my order to a black button.She also sent me an updated confirmation email reflecting the change to my order. Great customer service!!!!
It is extremely easy to program and mount the buttons, and each button can have its own identifying ring in order to identify which door to answer.
I have just ordered a third button for my back door.....can't wait to decide which of the nine chime sounds to "assign" to that button!!!!
