"I ordered several items in September of 2020 and it is now February 2021. I still have not received anything even though they had no problem taking my payment. Granted, the items were listed as pre-order, but I had no idea that meant I would never receive anything. Since placing my order I have seen all the items available in a number of other places, which would be a clear indication that the items are not in a pre-order status, yet horrormerch.com has not shipped anything. This company has taken payment but has not delivered. Learn from my mistake and shop elsewhere."
"I pre-ordered an expensive Chucky doll replica (t-shirt & batteries included) in October 2018. Received an update (ONE) that if I didn't "update" my delivery address by March 22, 2019 (which they changed to March 20 in the next paragraph), I would get bumped down the line and first receive mine with the next batch in August/September (the first batch was in April 09-15). I received this email March 27, 2019. I wrote back to them, saying that I received the email too late to be able to reply in time, and that I hoped that it wouldn't affect my place in the line. I never received a reply. They even let anyone know who had ordered that they wouldn't get the t-shirts or batteries in stock in time, but that we were welcome to specify if we wanted something else like the hammer to go with our 2-for-1, or that we could wait for the batteries to get in stock, but in that case, who would've paid for the shipping since it was going to get split? I never got to find out.
Since then, I wrote to them 6 times, all asking whether or not I would ever receive my order that I spent 500$ on, since I didn't receive any further updates a month prior like I had the last time. I tried getting Paypal to rescind my payment, but I naively waited over the 180 day limit holding out hope that maybe I would finally receive an update in summer, so I lost the right to get refunded. I tried getting my bank to cover me, but they demanded proof that the seller hadn't delivered in the time line they promised and that I had tried contacting them repeatedly, which I couldn't prove because horrormerchstore requires you to use their formula on their own site to contact them, and had suddenly taken down the listing for the Chucky doll off their site entirely. They even stopped showing it in the pre-order time table page on their website. The reason I knew that the next batch would be in August/September was because the site who made them - TrickOrTreatStudios - had it listed as being in stock by then. These scammers cost me 500$, and there's absolutely nothing I can do. I only bought from them and not from the source itself because of the lure of a free t-shirt and batteries (I had that exact same t-shirt back when I was a child, so it had sentimental value for me).
When you want to contact them, as mentioned earlier, you have to use their contact form on their webpage. The reason for that, is so that you don't have any record of the email you've sent to them, so you can't prove if you've tried contacting them in case you want your bank to rescind a payment made to them. In the mail, they even mention - in capital letters - that they don't want you writing on their Facebook/Twitter pages for updates on your order, likely because if they try to scam you, they don't want everyone else to know. I don't use social media, so they were lucky to have scammed someone like me in that regard. They don't even have a phone number. Your only means of contacting them is through a formula on their webpage that they control completely, and on social media, which again I don't use. They don't even list an address for their company headquarters.
The people behind this "company" should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Since I first started shopping online back in 2008, I've only experienced a scammer once before in 2010. I actually forgot that they still existed, since shopping online has become so much more organized and safer than back then. The only way I have of getting just a little revenge, is to leave bad reviews like this, and promising that they will never see another dime from me, my family or my friends ever again, and to tell everyone else to stay as far away from them as possible. It took me this long to finally get rejected by my bank, so that's why I've waited half a year to write this review.

"I purchased two items from this store during June 2020, with the intent to give them as an anniversary gift in August. I did note that one of the items mentioned it was "made-to-order," so in anticipation of it possibly taking longer than normal, I made a backup plan to give it as a Christmas gift. After 20 business days, with my order still marked as "Received," I contacted the vendor and asked to make sure my order had been properly submitted and not missed or forgotten. I received a generic response that the items I purchased are pre-orders (neither description stated as such by the way) and that they would ship "when they arrive." August came, and then December. Nothing. No Processing notification, no shipping. Both items I purchased are available on other websites, and one of them also has the "made to order" note in its description. I am now positive that this is simply a scam; a fake website with copied listings from other sources with no intent to ship anything. I opened a case with PayPal and the seller never responded to the case, so I'm escalating the claim. "

"Never in my life have I dealt with a worse website, every piece of the clothing is supposedly “pre order” and they then use this as an excuse to not refund your money. I have been waiting weeks and got nothing from them till I sent a message asking for an update and they tried to tell me my order was being held up by a figure but I didn’t order a figure from them. Then it was that I gave them the wrong order number and was referred back to their policy which states no refunds and or discounts for pre order clothing that is taken care of within the 6-10 day turnaround well it has been longer than that, I don’t wish to have any business with them and just want my money back I have threatened to contact the BBB and my bank"

"Coupon code did not work and accidentally sent my order while trying to re-enter it. I contacted their customer about it and was met with hostility and resistance. I was told I was wrong 20 others used the code that day and I needed provide pic's that their code didn't work and once an order was submitted nothing they can do. I submitted multiple pics show multiple combos would not accept the code and was met by being ignored. Then upon posting a Facebook warning of their customer service they blocked me from posting proving how shady this company is. All and all what was a simple customer help ticket may just end in legal dispute. "

"Last month I ordered a Halloween 2 Michael Myers mask and a Halloween Dr. Loomis t-shirt, money was taken out and I was told that I would be contacted when the items were shipped, a week passed and I got no response. I contacted them about it and they claim that the items I ordered were "Not in stock" and that once they are in I'd get the items. Not pleased with this I said, If the items were not in stock that their website should have stated that. They then told me that the items were "Special Orders" meaning that the items were "Not in Stock". Now very angry I said to them to just refund me the money. Nope! "Our policies state that they give No refunds on items Not in Stock", but they will send the shirt because their is a backorder on the mask. I assumed that the shirt would come and I will get the mask later. I got nothing, contacted Customer service and got the same old song and dance as before. I called them out on it again using a few colorful metaphors which offended them. Now they refuse refunded me, won't take any more emails and claim now that the items WILL be shipped. Now that I have seen others have been screwed it's unlikely that I will be sent anything and will be out of $90.00. Don't use them, go get your Halloween/Merchandise from others who are reliable"

"Anyone reading the reviews of great customer service and quick shipping, please do not believe it!! First id like to state, read their entire website and notice the many words in all caps on how they can change shipping dates at any time. They cover all bases for questions on where the paid for items are and why they were not received so when they take money out of your account in December and you STILL do not receive your item on April 20, youd think theyd have some concern for making it right but thats not the case. If you attempt to reach out, you are met with a very rude response and that “Im beint impatient.” Considering they took the money out of my account and no product was ever received, i would hardly call myself impatient. And after many back and forths, nothing was ever fixed about it. In a desperate attempt to have them make it right so i could have my money back for the product i never received, i weote a comment on a new pre order post on IG asking if they were ever going to send out the other pre order from December and they REMOVED me!!! So i sent them another email asking them to make it right and they responded by saying trolling them wont get my money back! I responded being so rude to paying customers and stealing their money will not twke them far. Anyone in my position PLEASE come forward so we can stop this scamming company!!!!!"

As we had also sent an update to you regarding the last remaining item on May 20 that your remaining was not currently in stock. This email included an offer for a refund, or gift card for this missing item.
As you did not reply prior and your refund window had expired, a gift card was sent to you (and is still active) that you can use on other items within our website.
As you mention and as shown, we do send your items out to you - if they are discontinued, out of stock or no longer available, you do have a refund or gift card option up to 180 days after purchase. As you did not request the refund prior to your refund window expiring the gift card was sent to you.
