Valve adjusting shim

"The ordering process was very simple and easy. The estimated delivery date prior to ordering was not very accurate. Robert Lawler the Parts Manager was very helpful when I had questions. Shipping cost was outrageous. $22 shipping for a $11 part. Last thing... what normally would of been a 2-3 day delivery... it took 7. Kinda lame but all in all, it was positive."

"I needed a part for my RAV4. I could not determine the correct part number from the Toyota Parts web site. I called Hoselton parts department. Dave answered and was great in finding my part as well as recommending another part to go with the repair. I purchased the parts online and then went to Hoselton to pick it up. Great experience with Dave."

Rudeness and unhelpful

"I purchased a part. I had to go out of town so my wife went to pick it up. She arrived and asked where parts department is. The response she received from a salesperson was dismissive and unhelpful. She went looking around for the parts department. She asked someone else if she could
Pick up the part since it was already paid for. The handle was jiggled by the employee and said, “its closed.” There was no politeness. No description of hours of when to come back. Just a dismissive answer.

wrong wiper insert sent

"either because of lack of clarity on toyota spare parts website or mistake on vendor end, I received the wrong front wiper insert size for my rav4. i needed a wiper insert for the 26" left front wiper. instead, got the shorter 16" rubber. sigh! what do i do????"

Typical car dealer sales experience

"Salesman could not make a decision on his own, He had to leave 3 different times to check with his manager. His manager then came out for hard negations, he then left twice, and finally came back with an acceptable deal. (must stay
strong and be willing to leave) Also, some add on Toyota accessories are over priced!, can be purchased on-line through Toyota at a fraction of the price. (see wheel locks)
