"I read so many bad reviews, but, I really needed to purchase a pair of 13 wide shoes. Houser Shoes was the only seller I could find that had a pair of dress shoes in wide. They were also on an awesome deal. Okay, I did not trust using online purchase because I know that everything is screwed up because of COVID. Instead I called the main number. I was able to confirm that they had one pair left and they shipped it to me quickly. They arrived in great shape. With COVID every supply chain has been impacted. Every retailer has been impacted. You can not rely on any retailers web page to be current. You have to call and find out."
"Ordered boots for Christmas. After not hearing a word from Houser or a week, I contacted them about my order. I asked when my order would be shipped. They then told me they did not have the boots I ordered. They never told me they did not have the boots until after I contacted them. Horrible service! Now scrambling for new boots!"

"I almost didn’t order bc of the reviews on here, but I’m glad I did! Found these shoes in a Clark’s store, they didn’t have my size and were sold out @ Clark’s and everywhere online. Msrp was $130 and I got them from houser for $60 total!! Fast shipping, perfect condition, about to order a second pair. I work in ecommerce and the transaction was perfect. The people on here who left 1 star shouldn’t be allowed to use the internet."

"Pop up box says 15% discount with first time customer purchase. Well, unlike other retailers, these people do not allow you to use it if the discount takes your order below their "free shipping" threshold of $49.88. Called and very unpleasant female CSR named Jennie answered who said they add roughly $10.00 shipping to your order when that happens. I said other retailers don't do that, and she immediately starting arguing. Apparently, she has had no training. Hung up. Will never buy from these people again. Nowhere does it explain this ripoff policy. These were the only shoes I need at this time, so ordering something else was not appropriate. Then, before 24 hours had elapsed, Jennie sent an email aggressively denying the above and offering a bribe of the 15% credited back, but I would have to contact them even though they still have all of my information. Give me a break. Horrible service and a liar to boot! I will never even look at their website again.
