"It went smoothly, I hit place order, received confirmation. Then I went back to my email to make sure I received confirmation…hmm none received so went back to website and confirmation had disappeared and back to page that said “place order”. That same thing happened last time I ordered from your company - that time I clicked place order again and then received 2 of my order. Unable to resolve with customer service so kept it as I knew I would use it. So this time I called customer service number but got a recording. I left a message but never got a response so I waited several days and surprise I received my order and it was correct. Love the product as it works very well but do not like the ordering process. I would give the product 5 stars and ordering process 1star. "

Filter missing components

"Received my new pool filter filled it with sand made all connections but when I went to install pressure gage the filter housing wasn’t threaded. I had to tap it myself. I was lucky I had a tap and die set to do this myself. I’m sure most customers would have been out of luck. It’s a quality assurance issue with the manufacturer. Other than that the filter works fine. "

AquaTrainer 17fx - horrible quality

"We have a hydropool aquatrainer 17fx spa. We got it in March 2021.
Over the past 9 months we've had the following issues:
- swim jet replaced
- heating element replaced
- shallow end anchor mount replaced
- swim controls display panel replaced

And we currently have the following open issues that persisted through the fall that were noted during the closing to be fixed in the spring:
- chlorine tablets aren't dissolving into the pool water
- tub won't go into standby mode

I can't imagine buying anything else, certainly not for the price of a car - and having the majority of the moving parts and electronics replaced in the first 9 months. Under warranty, so we aren't paying - yet.

I regret buying from Hydropool. This is going to bite us for years to come.

"If i could give a minus half review i would, i ordered online a 400 000 btu propane heater from another crowd called prime pool market,4 weeks later and after many calls they told me that they didnt have the stock and they would refund me.So not to be caught twice i phoned Hydropool first before placing an online order to confirm they had the unit in stock,yes they said we have 10 on our long island depot, ok i said if i order now is it guaranteed,shouldn't be a problem they said,anyway the next day i had not received an order confirmation so i called them and spoke to Megan, she said the guy i spoke to the day before had bought her the order and told her to order it immediatley, she confirmed she had done so. happy days or so i thought,i then received an order confirmation saying the heater and 2 other items i had ordered and would arrive sat 16th may.Sat 16th May the cover for the heater and some mouse deterrent arrived but no heater,i called and spoke to Jason sat 16th may and he said he would look into it and get back to me.He did not get back to me so Monday i called and spoke to him again, he said he can see its in the warehouse he will look into it and get back to me, surprise surprise he did not.I then called in wed 20th spoke to Jeff he said he can see Deweypile was the shipper but there was no shipping reference, he will call and phone me back that day, guess what... he did not, called this morning and spoke to Megan told her this whole litany of BS, she put me on hold for some time then came on the line and said there was a problem with the 1 they had in stock... 'the 1!!' they told me they had 10!! and that they will have to refund me!!! No alternatives... no real concern, an all round apothetic attitude!!When asked about the credit i was told 'well i have to push this up to my supervisor, i cannot tell you when the credit will be done' pathetic to say the least."

Meagan....is insane..... litterally I am not exagerating.

"HYDROPOOL.COM - DO NOT USE THIS SITE....you won't get your stuff and when you try to find out where it is....GOOD LUCK! Sent my stuff 2 TIMES TO THE WRONG ADDRESS..... when I used the correct address both times! Trying to fix their mistake is a joke.... no matter what I said, they repeated back and did the opposite!!! The more I tried to RE explain the situation, the more they would not even listen to me. Meagan took care of my issue and each contact and action was another disaster. She is truly incompetent and insane. NEVER AGAIN! Don't fall for the cheap prices...not getting the stuff that they mail to "god knows who" will make the cheap price and ALL the hassle not worth it!"

Hydropool sold me a broken Hayward DE4820 Filter

"The filter had a broken internal outlet elbow on receipt. When I contacted them they would not honor the warranty and only gave me the phone number of Hayward Pool Products for support. Hayward Pool products have proved to be not any better. "

Great Experience

"i can only comment on my own experience and i am based in the UK, so can not comment on the company overall, but from what i have seen so far they have been great, i had a few problems at the early stages, but they did not argue and they responded quickly, one person in particular from customer services should be praised for this, you know who you are!! thanks again and would recommend the company"

Swim Spa Review

"So we purchased a swim spa in fall 2017. paid over 20 000 for it. It sits on a heated concrete pad and it's fully enclosed. We had the hydraulic cover lifts installed for my wife and I are both retired Veterans from the Canadian Armed Forces with disabilities. So we had the pool for 3 months and the one covers seams started to come apart and tore on the handle while lifting. So took some pictures of it and this is the response we get.

''This cover has been completely mishandled. They have lifted the cover by the flap and straps which has caused them to tear. They have also used the handles to carry or drag the cover. Handles are only to be used to open and close the lid while it on the tub.

So the hydro pool company will not replace it. Well we've had hot tubs for more than 20 years never had a problem with the covers until now.

I would never buy or purchase from this company again. So Buyer beware cause their warranty ****.

A good looking piece of junk:(

"I'm giving this a star because it looks nice, but that's as far as it goes. If your looking to actually use the tub, stay away from this one and the company altogether. I had the tub a year with just my wife and I using it. We had to have some of the same parts replaced 4 times in this time frame along with other items like a jet, lights, pillows, controllers and jet control on the top of the tub. I had the BBB after both the small shop that sold it to me along with the hydropool company itself. They took a very long time to fix each issue. They didn't care if it worked or not, they had there money. Do not buy"

Terribly Expensive Disappointment

"I rarely write reviews, but after two years doing battle with an AquaTrainer 14 FX from Aqua Spa, I have little choice but to spare fellow citizens of the mess that is ours to clean up. Even though it is the most expensive thing we've ever purchased for our home, if I could toss it, I would. We've suffered through two leaks - first from the manufacturer who tightened the screws too tight and cracked plastic around the lights, and the second from deteriorated plastic due to Baquaspa chemicals. (Apparently, that stuff erodes various types of plastic - a fact that was not disclosed to us when we elected to go that route instead of chlorine.) The pool is indoors and both leaks caused considerable wallboard and baseboard damage. Now we are struggling with an enormous amount of scale and no one seems to know how to rid the pool of it. Think the Milky Way on a clear night - that's how much scale floats around our pool.

I would not recommend. We are stuck with water that is too murky to swim in.
