"shipped my order postage due, after shipping was included in purchase. "
"Ordered a bluetooh wireless dongle adapter for my wireless headphones, through Amazon. Dongle stopped dongling today, August 25, 2010. Tried to email imagestore through Amazon, "server error" so no contact there. No answer to my emails to imagestore at ths point. Crappy company, sell you stuff and then no way to contact them when it doesn't work!"
"I ordered a bluetooth earpiece because it looked exactly the same as the Motorola H700 and cost about 1/4 what the H700 cost. I assumed the H7K product # was a misprint. When I got the item, it appeared to be the exact same thing only in the store's brand packaging (Fieon). The only question was that it was mailed with a different company's mailing label. I've since contacted that company to let them know.
I tried reading the instructions but they appeared to have been scanned using a poor OCR text recognition software. There were #s in the middle of words, mispelled words, very poor gramar and absolutly no figures even though they were referenced all through it. When I couldn't get it to sync with my handheld, I started searching the internet about the company and brand to find a help # or other user's manual. I first checked the model # that the instruction sheet referenced (samsung WEP150), but that was apparently for a completely different bluetooth device. Then I found out others have had similar problems with their merchendise. I ended up downloading the user's manual for the motorola H700. My device has the same part numbers, the H700 model number and other specifications which leads me to believe that this was either a reject or some other questionable type of device such as a referb or illegally aquired.
Even with following motorola H700 instructions, I was not able to get it to work. The internal software is similar but not the same. After I messed around with it trying different combonations of buttons for 1 1/2 hours, I eventually got it to work. Now that it is paired with my device it works great.
I think I took a big risk buying from these people and am certain they are running a scam of some sort. I am notifying the BBB in their area about this. I think it deffinitely warrants someone official looking into their business practices."
"Purchased a Radeon 9000 video card that arrived (slowly) DOA. It failed to even allow 3 different computers to boot when installed. I have sent several emails to the address thay say they will reply to (contact us) and they haven't even read them yet (I use return receipts for all RMA issues) so I'll know when they are read - if ever. Now, over 6 weeks later, I have 1 DOA board, a replacement I had to buy locally for my client, and a client who now thinks I've been getting him used parts (not the case). All I can say is if you read these reviews and don't pay attention to them you'll be writing one of these soon. I would only use this store again if I didn't NEED the part I was ordering, and I DON'T have ANYTHING else to do. Otherwise Take heed! I don't know how low the rating goes but for this store it isn't low enough."
"Ordered 2gb memory stick pro duo w/ flash reader.
Shipping response was slow, it took over a week to get here. And lo and behold the flash reader works, but the (expensive) memory stick is DOA. Memory stick was packaged in soft plastic wrap and a little piece of cardboard, nothing else!!
Sent RMA request, haven't heard anything. Will update when I recieve RMA information. Judging from the other posts on here, it doesn't look good... :(
Update: Flash reader is also defective, but I threw away the packaging. Doh!! Now they want $8 for an "RMA Fee" and still no response!
Final Update:
They RMA'd the card without asking for their RMA fee. Would have liked to not have received defective hardware in the first place, but they did end up replacing it after I sent it back. "
"IDE_USB cable w/ power supply; price was competitive, but no tax from NY; service was great. Power supply was DOA, they shipped another out immdediately; didn't have to mess with RMA and return shipping. "
"Purchased through their ebay store, after checking their feedback. When the item arrived, it was different from the one they had advertised and sold on ebay. When I contacted them about this, they initially claimed that the items were the same, but couldn't provide proof (a few features were missing). I asked them to return this item at their cost, and for a full refund, was offered only 80% refund on the item, less shipping cost, and would have to return ship at my own expense. So, their mistake would have cost me $25 -- outrageous.
I've also tried contacting them through their customer service rep "Charlie" (see their website if you must) as well as the owner of the company, to no avail. Nobody there cares, they have their money.
As a last resort, I added negative feedback on ebay, which brought out a few fellow ebuyers with similar experiences, who were afraid to file negative feedback -- and for good reason -- just a few days after leaving the ACCURATE negative feedback, they slandered me, saying they had refunded the item, but I hadn't returned it.
AVOID at all cost."
"I ordered a 6-port USB PCI card from them, great price and good processing speed -I placed the order on a Saturday night, and it had shipped by Monday.
At this point there was a little snag -but I believe this was USPS' fault. Imagestore provided me with a tracking number, but it wasn't updated at all for about 3-4 days (on the UPSP site), so I e-mailed Imagestore asking if they knew what was going on at all, and, though I still haven't gotten a response from them, the card arrived yesterday morning (Saturday)."
"Pro:
fast shipping
good customer service
item as described and working
Con:
No Tracking Number provided
To much negative feedbacks here while i m not sure if just some people took out frustrations.
All over:
Good shopping experience, i would order again.
thanks"
"Even tho they had a low rating I ordered a USB hub from them because of the price.
Order was recieved in about 5 days in perfect working condition, no hassles.
I'd purchase from them again.

"I ordered a brand new ATi 9600 video card. The one they sent me was used, in an opened box with mising materials. To top it all off it is broken and doesnt work (tested on 3 computers).
I have emailed them about 100 times and they haven't responded. I tried calling them and some little china man was chinking into the phone that I had to pay $8 to return the item, $23+ to get a refund, then told me I couldnt get a refund because I used a check.
The guy barely spoke english and had an attitude. They never sent me a replacement card or a refund. They are lucky I don't live near the stores address.
In closing, these guys are criminal con-artisits. They swindled me out of $135."
"Item does not work. I sent an RMA request 3 Weeks ago and have tried to contact them thru email and they do not respond. The RMA is still open according to their website. Please do not do business with them. Their products are cheap and their customer support does not exist."
"I ordered the AGPTEK (this is who manufactures their video cards - fyi) 9600 Pro 256 meg video card. The shipping wasn't the quickest, but I received the card as advertised.
The only serious drawback is that their advertisements do not contain enough technical info on the card. Had I known that the core was 400mhz and the memory 200mhz, I would have most likely bought another card. However, I must say that this was my error, not Imagestore's. I had every opportunity to ask them for more information yet I limited my enquiries to "Who is the manufacturer?" They replied, "AGPTEK". Also worth noting is that AGPTEK uses false information on their website pertaining to core and memory speeds of their products. Not unlike another buyer who thought he was getting a 9600XT, I too was happy when I saw the stickers on the card which read "9600XT" - it would have been a pleasant mixup! :) But it was not meant to be. If you are looking for a decent video card and you don't care about 3dmark benchmarking etc, these are your guys. But if you're looking for quality, look elsewhere. One manufacturer and one seller? No thanks. AGPTEK + Imagestore = bottom of the barrel folks."
"STAY AWAY!!! I purchased a video card advertised as a RETAIL ATI 9700pro video card. I even called the company and (once I got someone who kind of spoke the english language) made sure that it was a full retail version of an ATI made product. They lied to me and said it was. Well It wasn't. The video card came in with the heatsink broken off of it, and Imagestore refused return. I had applied for a RMA# which didn't post until 18 days later, and was post dated to my request date. Guess what... their policy is that RMA numbers are only good for 15 days and will not be reissued. They said it was retail ATI and to get help from them. ATI said that they never made the card and it isn't even their part number. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CON ARTISTS!"
"I usually go to a different online store, but decided to save a few bucks and try someone new.
It cost me more than a few bucks in the end...but first let me tell you how I got to the end.
I did my research and ordered an ATI 9600 Pro 256MB video card that would suit my needs. I was relieved to see that Imagestore accepts Pay Pal, so I decided to use that method of payment. Maybe it was the horrendous grammar on their website, but for some reason, I had a feeling I could not trust them with my credit card number...I should have listened to my gut feeling.
I was impressed, however that even on a holiday, these godless heathens sent my order the evening I ordered it (I didn't know they were godless at the time). That didn’t matter, since shipping was excrutiatingly slow, anyways…
The day my daughter went off to first grade, I got my card. The box was opened, there was no brand name or FCC Label…and it was a Radeon 9600XT, not a Pro like I had ordered. Thinking I got some kind of bonus, I popped it in. Garbled graphics, crashes to desktop in games. Blech! I reloaded Windows XP, still no dice. Tried it in my wife's machine, but same thing. Set up an RMA online and waited patiently for an email confirming my RMA. After days of no email or confirmation I simply sent the card back (at my expense) with the RMA number on the box and hoped for the best. The card arrived back to them in two days flat. I called to see when they would return my card to me, and got some squaking about an $8 "RMA Fee" which I refused to pay.
Sometime in the middle of my daughters second year of middle school, imagestore sent me a new card, different brand (AGPtek), same specs as I originally had ordered. This time the card was exhibiting the same behavior, only much more erratic and causing my Windows cursor to disappear. Again I went through the RMA process but this time demanding my money back. Again I sent the card back at my expense and again they recieved the card in two days.
So while my daughter was graduating high school and preparing for college, Imagestore sat around twiddling their thumbs with the card in I had sent back in their warehouse. I called back asking when I would recieve a FULL REFUND. Again, the person on the phone squaked about restocking fees, which I thought was rediculous since it's not MY FAULT the cards they sell are nameless heaping piles of junk. I was assured that I would recieve a full refund in one day. A few days later, my refund came through Paypal, minus 15%. Now I’m upset. I can live with a restocking fee if the product isn't bad, but in this case the store should have eaten it. I gave them a final chance to redeem themselves, but they have not responded. Fail.
So all the red flags are true: Poor quality products, terrible shipping, unintelligible website, insensitive customer service, and they'll take your money and RUN with it. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS."
