I ordered IXIL slip ons for my 919. Must say ordering was easy but the communication between Indy and Ixil was mediocre. I speak spanish so I wrote emails to IXIL myself and was able to gather way more info on overall shipment status better than trying to get info from Indy. Painstaking wait for shipment due to the fact that they wait for bulk shipping so they only ship once a month. THAT SUCKS!!! But hey, I wanted these particular pipes...
As of now the pipes are still in transit. I ordered them 5-5-09, today is 6-8-09 and it maybe another week before I see them... Guy I spoke to, Carl was ok but not great... On an ETA request later on they told me he was no longer with the co. Oh well, I just can't wait to see the IXIL pipes I ordered, unfortunately Indy is their only distributor here in the US so there... I believe good things come to those who wait?????????????????? Doesn't it...

As we do not stock all parts from ixil we do have to custom order some exhaust this one is that case but the customer knew upfront that it would take approx a month to get and agreed to wait items were delivered and customer was pleased. Again the customer knew upfront that the parts were going to take some time to come in and wanted to wait so we made the order as the usa distributor for ixil we do this often.

Commenting on the reply from Indysuperbike on Oct of 2009, I'd like to add a comment of my own to that statement.
True that Indysuperbikes does not stock Ixil parts and also true I agreed to wait for the pipes I ordered with them but not true that I was "pleased" with the way they were delivered. As a matter of fact my first impression when I first received the pipes was that they were horribly packaged. So is the case that they were dented, scratched and the box had a hole. (And I have pictures to prove it.) I called to complain, obviously, but I was told to send them back and that it would take another month or two before I received another set. I didn't want to wait anylonger so I decided to keep them. Doesn't mean that I was pleased (by any stretch of the imagination) and will I order from Indysuperbikes again? I don't think so. Furthermore, when it comes to customer service and quality control, from my experience dealing with them, is just poor. I don't think I have to tell them to make sure the pipes are clean, free of scratches, bubble wrap properly, box them properly, etc. etc. etc... It looked as if they got them from Spain and without any quality check they just shipped them forward...
