I.M. screwed up this order so badly, there is no way they will ever order any computer equipment from us again.
1st, the shipment arrived in a box that looked like it was packed by an angry 13 year-old.
Then, Ingram sent us the wrong MacBooks.
Then, they refused to take them back. We had to reorder new ones.
Then, half the iPads were already registered to a different school, and are locked - so they are unusable.
4 months later, still not resolved."

"They do not answer the pohones or answer emails. It takes close to 10 months to get merchandise from them with no communications. When ever they want they will charge your card and ship the products even after you forgot you ordered them since you will have to buy it from other vendors unless you order about a year ahead of needing it"

They say they fix it then we order and they stop our order on credit hold and say we still owe for the missing item. We have been back and forth so many times. "Depending on what you are ordering, you will either have a positive or negative experience. The Cloud Services Team for Microsoft seems to have a good infrastructure for sales and support. The mainstream services, even with a US based rep can be frustrating. Billing errors that go on for months with no resolution. The overseas billing department ranges from not understanding your problem to not even responding. Even the US team cannot get a response for their overseas department. The Licensing group seems to be fairly competent. Be careful if you need support. An order can be put on hold with no communication as to why it is on hold. Where possible, it is best to order direct from the manufacturer. We started out with a few orders. About 50% of the time, there was an issue that **** the order. We still us them only for Cloud based and licensing. One end of the company does not know what the other is doing. Our inside sales rep replied, "This goes on with all companies, and some are worse than us ." If Ingram Micro would make customer satisfaction a top priority, I think they would have more satisfied clients. "
"Seems like every time we deal with them and there is anything at all - even small things that are nobrainers with anybody else - it becomes a drama.
This time - change from pickup to shipping. Not possible. Can purchase a new one and ship it and then let the other one sit until it expires and then get charged for restocking. Nothing they can do.
Maybe all the people sitting there laughing in the background chit chatting with each other should put some effort into finding ways to help their customers. "
"I made a mistake & ordered the wrong monitor. They wouldn't cancel it even though the order was placed 5 minutes before calling them. They said I can refuse the delivery but am on the hook for shipping fees & restocking fees. It was my first order with them, won't be doing another."
"I've used them for about 10 deals in 4 months. They have taken my money months before items were supposed to ship, attempted to collect for the same sale three times after payment was confirmed, failed to deliver orders which had to then be cancelled, not processed support contracts, and then shorted the terms of the support contracts after I finally got them to process them. Customer support is awful. I've never received a meaningful response in less than 12 hours. I would be better off buying from a guy with a van in a dark alley."
"Stay away. Shipping wrong products, customer service is extremely slow. High and slow shipping.
Reps are extremely rude. Do not buy from Ingram Micro: they don't care about their customers."
"Terrible out-sourced Indian support who can't solve anything and take days just send you out of date pages. Portals that don't work. It's just non-stop pain in every experience with them. We've gone from spending £20k per month with them down to less than £200.
They are just not interested in fixing issues or providing support. "
"I've been dealing with them for almost 2 years, they can't process an order correctly. You place it online, pay it online, they take the money, they have the stock, they don't ship it. Credit has to release it.... Why? Does not make any sense. Once release 2 days after placing the order (and paying for overnight shipping), there is another issue. Still not shipped. It's PAID and they have the stock.
So get ready, every order is a nightmare. Prepaid account or not.

"Every review is correct. I've used Ingram for almost 2 decades. They get worse every year. I've made my feelings known to upper management and they really just don't care. You would be lucky to get a rep for longer than 6 months and you would be lucky to get customer service from someone that speaks English. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the repeated frustration."
"All of the reviews that you read here are 100% accurate, and some highly detailed, so I will not go into too much detail here. I'd like to state that Ingram Micro is the absolute worst company I have ever had to work with, ever in my life. They don't have a US-based call center, as stated by others, and the competence of their sales team based in the Philippines is atrocious. For a company of this size, it's unforgivable to have such terrible customer service. Of all of the orders we have placed in the past 2 years, there has been an issue with AT LEAST 80% of them. The products sent out are incorrect, or defective, or not sent out at all. Orders are voided for no reason. They don't know the prices, so they ask you what the cost is of THEIR products. Absolute incompetence. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY and find ANY OTHER distributor. Seriously. "
