"No matter who you buy from, sometimes stuff just doesn't work the way it's supposed to. I don't hold it against a merchant if their stuff doesn't work (at least not the first couple of times). But I do expect them to resolve the issue. InkOwl did just that. They responded to my email in less than 24 hours. They asked one question for clarification and then resolved the issue in less than another 24 hours. And they were nice. I will definitely be purchasing my next round of ink from InkOwl. "I've been using these folks for over a year now and every time I've dealt with them (Anthony, in my case) they've proven themselves extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
This is the kind of small business that isn't so big that you're a number on a spreadsheet, they will sit down with you on a call and onboard you to using their inks. They worked with me one on one for over an hour to diagnose a color issue and generated an ICC profile for my printer by mail. When I first ordered inks they also reached out to me to make sure I was using them in a way that wasn't going to ruin my printer and answered the questions I had, even if they were about topics adjacent to their inks.
Shipping times are quick, sometimes arriving sooner than the carrier estimates it will, and most orders qualify for free shipping which is always a plus.
I've seen some of the negative reviews on this site and I have to assume that some serious changes were made at the company, because I can't reconcile any of them with my experiences whatsoever.
I will say that I've been upsold during the onboarding call, but the product being recommended was actually useful, was based on the knowledge that I didn't have any and was just starting out, and was in line with recommendations found elsewhere.
I can't be mad about suggesting a product that actually pertains to my situation, will actually make my life easier, and supports a company who is directly trying to ensure my success. There's also no pressure sales tactics here, just smart recommendations like "this flush kit and syringe will be useful when switching to our inks". You're either going to buy a flush kit from here or elsewhere, or you'll have a bad time... why *wouldn't* they recommend it?

"Whether I needed to just order inks or had technical assistance, this is the place that really provides excellent service. I was really struggling with my Epson 15000 printer; extremely bad print quality, it was a combination of my mistakes and actual legitimate problems. "Not long after using their ink, the print quality became very bad, faded and irregular. Stripes appeared and the white areas were messy.
This has been a problem for many years. I now have another printer to compensate. I was considering throwing away my MFC-9970cdw (8,5"x14" printer), since I thought it was damage. Then, I found out yesterday that the problem could be simply resolved by cleaning the 4 drums with paper towels and water and replacing their cartridges.
I contacted them yesterday to explain them the trouble their product caused me for so much years, but I got a cold and indifferent answer, almost blaming me for taking that long to find that my printer isn't damage and works properly if I clean the 4xdrums with paper towels and water then replace the ink by a good ones. Here is the exact answer I got: "
Good morning, Unfortunately your purchase is way out of warranty therefore I am sorry but there is nothing we can really do to help."
I didn't like their answer but it is understandable. The real problem is their bad VBR-315 product, since the result looks ugly and almost unreadable when this ink is used. "
"We are a district with hundreds of computers and because money is always tight we search for the best deal on ink. This company was nothing but a horrible experience. Antoinette their sales rep was nothing but rude and kept trying to upsell me on ink I did not need. My suggestion is do not buy from this company. There are others out their who want your business."

"I was somewhat apprehensive at first, almost on the verge of "If something's too good to be true...". Anyway I'm currently typing this review as my printer purrs merrily away with the bulk ink and refillable cartridge set I bought.
Lovely prints and no more blocking nozzles on the print head. Delighted with my purchase. I had to pay a good chunk extra for "postage" in a second email after I'd already paid for my order but that also included the import taxes so I was happy enough. I'll definitely be back when I need more ink to refill my refillable cartridges. Thank you! :)"
"I have been using sublimation for almost 10 years. I used to purchase expensive inks from Sawgrass, then found out about InkOwl. I purchased ink first for a new printer, an Epson 7720. I had no idea that I needed a new ICC profile to get the colors perfect. I contacted InkOwl, and they spent countless hours with me, getting me setup with a profile, and making sure my settings where correct. My prints not only came out better then the expensive Ricoh printer, but at a fraction of the cost now. My business started to see some major profit increases because of this switch. Years later I bought a new Epson 2800, and again, InkOwl worked with me on a perfect ICC profile, called me and walked me through printer settings, and spent hours helping me make it absolutely perfect.
Their communication skills are beyond impeccable, and not only respond to emails immediately, but go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. The inks I have used for 4 different printers now, all of which are the best way for our business to be profitable since they are so inexpensive but perform so well. "I reordered during the christmas season and it was in my mailbox within 3 business days. Before3 christmas so i could print my gifts. And prior to this I had contacted their tech desk and we were able to create a icc profile for my printer. He spent a considerable time on it. "Sick of the cost & waste of "genuine Brother" ink cartridges, I ordered a bottle of Ink Owl black ink, a full set of refillable cartridges, and the refill kit. I'm not the most mechanically inclined, so there was a small learning curve, but their directions were clear. Since getting the hang of it, I've been printing clean copy for something like 15% of the cost and 5% of the waste associated with Brother cartridges - really happy! And their service department is awesome! Shout-out to Anthony P at the Ink Owl tech desk, who talked me through some complex printhead issues I was having, and had mentally blamed on Ink Owl ink. Turns out not true - unrelated issue - but Anthony stayed with me till the problem was solved anyway - a lot better than the Brother tech desk!"

I spoke to a technical support person today who was very knowledgeable about printers. I was weighing whether to keep my 9 year old printer or buy a new one. He answered many questions I had related to ink refills of a new printer and the effort of trying to keep my old one. He mentioned I could return the toner I had recently ordered for my old printer if I decided to just buy a new one.
