The price is the best I could find. The shipping was sturdy and address precise. Had no problems, and love the amp. I sent an email inquiry, and response was timely and complete. I guess when you have such good prices and solid products, you can't have an army of people playing emails. "I live in Frenc Polynesia and placed two orders on 6/2/2008. I received a message from them on 18/06/2008 to inform me the items has been shipped.
As the items never arrived and I wrote them three emails; they never answered.
On wed ,june 25 I received an email from Ben saying"I was wondering if you could send me the 12 first number of your credit card number so I can verify the shipping adress".
I think this site is a kind of fraud (perhaps they send only a few orders and keep the money of the others...) and I am very astonished they can continue such a business without reactions from the credit card companies.
You'd better choose another site.

I just received one of the two items I ordered on 06/02.
The customer service never answered my mails but the most important thing is that I beleive now that I will finally receive the items I paid for...good news: the site seems not to be a fraud but the staff is not very efficient...
I'll write again when the last item will arrive here (now I can track it on the USPS web site) .

"Everything went according to the announced schedule. Can't complain about that, even if it was a little bit on the slow side. All terms were respected, all my mails were answered in 2 to 3 days (not a problem, considering I live in Belgium, Europe).
Just a note for Belgian customers (can't blame InstrumentAlley about it) : the Belgian customs are VERY slow ! Be patient !
The goods, and particularly my guitar, arrived in excellent condition. Action was a little bit high, but nothing abnormal. A ten minutes job on the bridge saddle, and now its perfect. Otherwise, the setup was ok.

It was a long wait, but Ben updated us ever so often and responed to my emails propmptley every time. The biggest surprise was, that a second banjo got shipped to us Jan. 2, 2008 free of charge. We have been pleased with the service and would buy again from instrument alley."
"I placed an order with them and elected to return the item within the 10 days, as their policy allows. I am still chasing them to get an RMA. The other reviews about not being able to get ahold of anyone and e-mails that don't get returned are accurrate. Will update as my issue gets resolved. Tomorrow I plan to file a claim with Paypal, if needed."

He lied about when he shipped my guitar and I had to dispute the charge with my bank before he would ship it. I have kept all records to prove he will do anything to get you off his back. BEWARE!!!!"
"Very poor/nonexistant communications and customer service. I ordered a guitar from instrumentally.com since they are located only two hours away from my home hoping that it would get here in time for a birthday gift.
It says on their website to allow up to 5 days to ship. Five days later I received an email saying it shipped--fair enough. unfortunately another five days passed with no updates as to the shipping status, so I emailed twice, called three times and left a message. I received zero responses. I contacted FedEx and they informed me that the package corresponding to the tracking number had never been sent (keep in mind this is five days after I received a shipping confirmation email).
Finally I was able to get a hold of instrumentalley through their online chat 10 days after the purchase, and they gave me no explanation or apology as to the late shipping.
At least they cancelled my order..."
