"I was happy with Intelenet.
I was worried rebates were a scam, but I did get all my rebates with out them putting up any kind of fight. The wait for the rebates is quite long, but it does say that in the fine print so I was expecting it.
Anyways, my phone was fine, T-mob service was fine, and with the rebates I feel the value was excellent.

Edit: I read some other posts and would agree that the rebates can be tricky. Make sure you read the fine print and know restrictions (like maybe you must be a new customer) and dates! If you do, hopefully you will get some nice checks in the mail like I did. : )

"Beware, I strongly advised not buying a phone from this company. They have good prices, but their customer service return department is poor. It took 7 weeks to get my credit back on a phone I returned (actually exchanged. The customer rep. cannot do anything for you except seed message to other department (warehouse or billing) to call back in several days. My problem was that the warehouse said I did not enclosed the wall charger. I am sure I did, but after 7 weeks of multiple (12+) phone calls to customer service I had to return my other wall charger to get my money back. (I had order 2 phones for a family plan.)

Here's my story:
• On April 4, because my cell phone I received was malfunctioning, I called in and ask to exchange my LG VX-4600 for another LG VX-4600. I was charged $74.99.
• On April 6, I sent my phone back into Intelenet Wireless. (Per Intelenet Wireless, received 4/12.)
• On Thurs. April 21, I had not received credit for this charge and had not been contacted so I called in and asked about my refund status. I was told the Warehouse did not find the charger in the box. A message was sent to the Warehouse asking to check again and call me with their. I was told I would be called with an answer with 2 days.
• I receive no response so I called in on Mon. April 25. I was told the only response that the Warehouse gave was they do not call customers. I was told I would receive a refund but the billing department has do that. I should receive an email stating this from the billing departing within 2 days.
• I receive no response so I called in today, Friday April 29. I called Customer Service and they said Billing had not gotten back to them. They told me that Billing does have a phone number for customers to call in.
• I called on May 2 and no response yet. C.S. sent another note to Billing. Told to call back 5/5 or 5/6.
• I called on May 10 and no response yet. Customer Service sent another note to billing with detailed explanation. Told to call back on Friday, 5/13 and if need talk to a supervisor.
• I called on May 13. Supervisor will make call and update file. Call back around 4:00 today.
• I called in around 4:00 on May 13. Supervisor (Mike Chaif, Evening Shift) told me to call back after 5 p.m.on Monday night May 16.
• I called in around 5 p.m. and the supervisor was in a meeting.
• I called in around 8 a.m. on Tuesday May 17. I asked to speak to a supervisor. After being put on hold for a long while, my name and phone number was taken. I was told the supervisor would call me back. Never happened.
• I called in around 3 p.m. (May 17) and was told that the Warehouse is still saying there is no wall charger with the phone. Billing has said via an email message that they cannot give me my refund. I volunteered to send one of my other chargers back in to resolve this. (I bought 2 cell phones so I will have only one wall charger.) I should not have to do this, but I want my credit refund. The representative then told me he would have to Billing to get approval for me to send the wall charger back in. He said I would have to wait 5-7 business days for an answer and I should call back then.
• I called again around 4 p.m. (May 17) and a different representative said I could send the wall charger with my UPS sticker from my other phone.
• Finally on May 27, I received an email that my credit card had been credited $74.99

"The worst dealing ever. I ordered a Motorola V300 phone from these guys after they offered an unbelievable $180 in rebates. They have way too many restrictions on their rebates. I complied all of them and sent them on time. After 5 months of not hearing from them, I called them up and he said "I sent it late" . He does not have any proof of that. I am extremely disappointed and will never deal with them again. "

"I ordered a V300 from them after reading some good things about them on the FatWallet forums. Like many others reported, I received a defect phone at first, but I contacted T-Mobile directly and had it sort out. However, their 2n rebate never came. They designed the rebate in such way that the first one is a small rebate, which came; and the second one is a large rebate ($175 in my case), which would not come. By the time you file the 2nd rebate, there's no way to argue through your credit card company. Check out their ratings everywhere, and see for yourself. They have at least another name A1Wireless, but probably more. Sadly they don't have a local branch so that I can sue them in a small claim court, but I am going to report them to BBB, FTC, FCC, State Attorney General's Office of both Ohio and my own state Maryland.

Edit: I just did more homework. Another name it uses, A1wireless's rating is even lower at 0.36 for 6 month. What a joke. I filed a complaint at Ohio Attorney General's Office moments ago. If you are also ripped off by this company, don't sit, fight. Not surprisingly, there are plenty of complaints against this company. I wonder how many complaints warrant an investigation by the office. BTW, they are not listed at their local BBB (Central Ohio BBB) by name, website name, or phone number.

2nd Edit: BBB of Central Ohio responded my inquiry. Intelenet (or part of it) moved to Maryland at the end of last year. Now they are covered by the Eastern PA and Washington DC BBB. Also they are having more names, such as wirefly and inphonic.

3rd Edit: Received the rebate check on April 5th. The check was issued on March 30th. It could be the result of the complains, but also could be a scheduled delay. Anyway, I got all the rebates I had been expecting from this company.

"I have been extremely dissatisfied with the rebate policy of this company. I submitted a rebate form and even confirmed receipt with the company but was recently told they never received it and that it was too late to reapply. The customer service line took
an hour to reach anybody live although the message repeatedly counted wait time from 10 mins down to 1-4 minutes before going back to 10. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told none was available. I asked for a call back but never got one.

"I have never had a worse experience purchasing a product over the internet that I had when purchasing a mobile phone from Intelnet Wireless. I purchased a brand new $500 Motorola V3 RAZR phone. When I received the phone, it was defective so I called Intelenet Wireless and they agreed to send me a new phone. In order to expedite this process, I did an advance replacement where they bill my credit card for a new phone and I ship back the old one after I receive the replacement phone. Once they receive the damaged phone, they credit my card back the full amount of the phone. They provide they pre-paid shipping lable to send the phone back. I shipped the phone back, and a month and a half later, I still have not been credited back for the phone. Customer service said they never received it. I don't have a tracking number and they are helping me locate one even though UPS told me that they can find the tracking number in their computer system since they generate the shipping label. I have spent hours calling customer service and speaking with supervisors. No one is willing to help me. In the last month I have spent $1000 for two cell phones, one which I don't even have. I would not recommend any purchase from the retailer even though their products are sold at a lower cost. It is not worth the risk!!"

"I got the phone within 3 days like they said. However the first one I got was defected. I had to call them several times to get a rep to talk to me. they promised to send me another phone but had to charge me for another phone (they promised that when they get the defective phone they'll give me a refund). I decided to take the phone to verizon and see if they can fix whatever was wrong with it. Verizon replaced my phone instead. I got my 2nd order from intelenet and mailed it back to them (using their label). My 2nd order was refunded within 5 days. so far what I can say is that their customer service phone line is not very good. If the rebates go through then the deal is pretty good. I have not yet mailed in my rebate yet (i have to wait another 150 days). I'll give another update on the rebates later on."

"This is the most unethical company I have ever delt with. I purchased Cingular plan and a phone with $125 rebate. I have never received a rebate. Moreover, I had to relocate to a different state and asked Intelenet Wireless to change my number - they told me to contact local Cingular store to obtain a new Sim card, which I did. After about 6 months I received an email from Intelenet asking me to pay $700 for breaking the contract and unpaid service. That was the most outrageous email I have ever seem - I was paying regularly for the phone with no problems. Aparently, after my accout was relocated to a different market, Cingular did not do the same to a dealer code. Now, Cingular tells me that it is a problem between me and Intelenet and not their internal glitch. I have no desire and will not pay to Intelenet especially after they told me that I have to deal with Cingular to make sure that they are paid their cut! Apparently they dont' care!!! "

"I purchased two Motorola V300 phones with promised rebates of total $470. I submitted the rebate forms on time, after waiting for almost one month, I called to check the states of my rebates, they refused to honor my rebates without any resonable cause, they told me that you submitted the rebates 20-25 days late.
This company is highly deceptive, very dishonest, I would avoid them at all cost, and not do business with them.
The company has very poor customer service.
I called T-Mobile customer service and I reported this company, If Intelenet Wireless will sill representing T-Mobile, I will cancel my contract with T-Mobile, and I think everybody should do the same till this company go out of business. Go to this link, Government Guide:Complaint Center.

"I ordered verizon plan + phone through this reseller. They said phone will ship in 24-48 hours. Six days later they still keep saying this. Talking to an agent is not easy. I could not connect to an agent after holding for 45 minutes. These people are very dishonest. I doubt if these people will even send the full rebate amount.
I would avoid them at all cost.

"They claim to ship withing 48 hours; 8 days later they finally ship, coiencedentally right after I call to verify that the order has shipped. Navagating through the automated phone system to get a real person is VERY difficult, although wait times are not too bad (about 5 minutes). Their prices are deceptive, since they claim rebates that can't always be used together. Overall, ordering from them has been a less than pleasant experience, and I would not do business with them again."

"Do not order from Intelenet. Their sales tactics are highly deceptive and their customer service is terrible. They take orders without informing you that items are out of stock. They told me they would have inventory within 72 hours. This lasted for 5 day until I cancelled the order. I would dissuade anyone from using them."

"I purchased two Motorola V 300 phones with two promised rebates of total $560.00.

The stipulations on the rebate form were very complicated, I complyied with the form exactly.

After waiting for six months, I did not hear anyting from them. I called them and they told me they refuse to honor the $300 rebate without any reasonable cause. They also told me the $260 rebate is on the way. After waiting for three more weeks, I still have not receive anything from them.

I guess they are trying to make you forget the rebates or they do not want to hornor the rebate at all from the begining.

I would not purchase anything from this company and expect to receive what I was promised.
