"I purchased two Motorola V 400 phones $300.00 with a promised rebate of $200.00. After the phones arrived, one of the wall chargers refused to work and I could never get Intelenet to replace it. I gave up and bought one.
The stipulations on the rebate form were very complicated, I complyied with the form but due to a geographic relocation and reassignment of a different phone number, by Cingular, not me, Intelenet has decided not to honor the $200.00 rebate it promised.
It is my guess that they are able to find any reason to refuse the rebates they promise.
I would not purchase anything from this company and expect to receive what I was promised. I say two thumbs down and look else where for electronic purchases.

"I purchased 2 cellular phones through Intelenet Wireless, 299 Deo Dr. #117, Newark, OH 43055, over the internet 4/10/04. The purchase was to include rebates of $12.50 and $50.00 per phone. I recieved $25 in rebates in July and called about the remaining $100 owed me. I was told at that time they were being processed at a later date and should recieve it by late August. I did not and contated them again in October. At this time I was told that they did not have my rebate form. I explained to their floor supervisor in the rebate department that I had sent it and if they don't have it to mail me another. I was told the rebate had expired. I explained tom him that in my prior calles nothing was said of missing forms and that there was a problem with the $100 in rebates owed (I specifically questioned the rep about the amount). When I asked to speak to the supervisors boss he would only give me a first name and that he was not available. It appears that I am victim of a rebate scam and out $100.

To the President,
I am a customer who purchased a cell phone from your company. According to the agreement, your company will do the rebate of $75 Exclusive mail-in rebate, $75 Appreciation mail-in rebate, and $30 Special promotion mail-in rebate.
I mailed out the rebates but I have not received my money back. I had made many phone calls to the rebate department but did not get any good results. And recently, a customer service representative said that I am not qualified for the rebates because of whatever reason he said.
The answer made me really upset. And I am feeling being cheated. I hope that this is not the case. If I am cheated, I will fight to the end. Either your company returns my money or closes down. I won’t let goes. I won’t tolerate unethical business acts.
I got a ideal. We can fill a Consumer Protection in Ohio to complaint about INTELENET WIRELESS. We can not see things like this exiting and cheating people. Go to this link that I found, or if anyone know anything better.

"Overall, I would not order from this company again. Customer Service was inefectual in determining the status of my order and NEVER did anything they said they would do. I finally had to call the shipper myself to find out when if ever the accessories for the phones might arrive. I was also signed up for the wrong phone plan with the carrier I chose and that took several phone calls to get straighten out as well. Should have gone straight to Sprint in the first place. My rebate has not arrived yet either and it should have been here weeks ago."
"Be skeptical regarding the rebates this company claims they will give you - they find all sorts of conditions that ARE NOT WRITTEN ANYWHERE to not give you your rebate. First they tell me that the conditions for the rebate is that you have to be activated for at least 6 months. HOWEVER depending on when they WRITE you your check, you have to be active - this could be anytime past the 6 month mark as they take their time issuing your cheque. Of course this 'rule' was not written anywhere."
"I bought a new cell phone with service (one year contract with T-Mobile) from them. As per their advertisement, they promised to send a $50 mail in rebate after “181 days from the date of Activation”.
I placed my order with them in Oct 2003. Now that I contacted them after 8 months to check the status of my rebate, I was finally directed to a non-1800 number where I could ultimately speak to a customer service rep. To my surprise, the rude rep told me that my rebate was not valid since I terminated my contract, and instead I could have been charged the cancellation fee. The argument that I was provided was that since T-Mobile changed my number, the company no longer gets commission from T-Mobile, and hence they would not pay me my rebate. I do have the copies of the rebate form, and it clearly mentions the conditions for the rebates. I have satisfied all those conditions, and none of the information talks about the number change.
I’m extremely disappointed at this practice being carried on by these crooks. It’s very natural that if these guys give a number, which is in an inconvenient area code, the customer will have to have it transferred to the proper area code. Intelenetwireless uses this loophole to rip the customers off their rebate. (Most of the rebates are anyway forgotten by the customers due to the 181-day delay period).
