It’s a surprise every time

"In the past year I’ve probably ordered 8 items all at separate times. Let me tell you all that 4/8 were the most random pieces of clothing not even close to the item I ordered. Not only do I have to wait a week to get my items but also hope it’s what I ordered??? The first time it happened o let it go thinking it was just a mistake ( it happens) but 2nd & 3rd AND 4th time I started thinking this is a joke. Love the clothing they sell but can’t bring myself to shop from here anymore. I ACTUALLY WANT WHAT I ORDERED!!!!"

Worst online service ever! Do not buy

"I bought a U$600 skirt and they couldn’t even send a shopping bag so that I could gift wrap. Ok that they don’t have gift wraps but at least send a shopping bag. Then Brandon from The Leadership team was absurdly rude and disrespectful. Then I tried to cancel the order 15 minutes after I placed it because I couldn’t have it with a store shopping bag and they said they couldn’t do it."

No value for a long time customer

"During sale, I ordered the dress, which was a total picture misrepresentation of the actual dress. Being their customer for more than eight years, I called them explaining that I know your “sale policy”, but the dress didn’t represent the picture and there was no specification under description. I asked them to make an exception and refund my money. In returned, they replied we are very sorry but can’t help me. Then I wrote them an email stating that they should consider giving me a store credit at least since I have been their customer for around eight years( documented). Their reply was the same - so sorry but can’t help. So I sent an email again stating that I will no longer shop on your website or at your stores, there are plenty competitors to shop with great “Sale Return Policy”. So. O more Intermix for me"

SHADY! SCAMMERS!

"I had a similar experience as others whereby I ordered a pair of Golden Goose sneakers on sale on November 27. On November 30 I was notified my order had been cancelled, yet my debit card had already been charged almost $400! They gave no explanation for why the order was not fulfilled and it took five days for the purchase to be removed from pending status on my debit card.
As a consolation for cancelling the order, I was issued a 20% discount code to be used towards my next purchase. When my debit card was settled from the first catastrophe, I attempted to order another pair of Golden Goose sneakers (at full price) but the discount code INTERMIX sent me to compensate for a cancelled order on the same brand shoes, was INVALID! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I contacted customer service and was told nothing can be done because there are no coupon codes for GOLDEN GOOSE. By the way INTERMIX, it is ILLEGAL to collect payment for an item that is not in stock!
I WILL NEVER SHOP THIS STORE AGAIN! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISAPPOINTED DAUGHTER!! BOO!

Worst online shopping experience ever

"So I ordered a pair of Golden Goose sneakers on the 26th of November. On December 3rd I called to see where my order was they said that they cancelled it. When I further questioned them, they said they sent an email(which they did not). When I asked them what day they said it was sent on November 30th. Then the lies continued when he said the warehouse must have gone to pull the order and the shoes were damaged....really!?! Long story short, my sneakers were on sale and they were not willing to honor any type of sale price so not only did I miss Black Friday deals but Cyber Monday deals. I will NEVER buy another thing from this organization and I have told every single person I know how awful they are."

Buyer Beware of False Advertising!

"I bought a pair of “sneakers” on line. But when I received them I found out they weren’t actually sneakers, i.e., a soft shoe with a flexible rubber sole. They were in fact a shoe with a hard plastic sole that does not bend. In other words, Intermix advertised them falsely as something they were not. However, when I called customer service to complain about the shoes not being sneakers and therefore not what I wanted, and to arrange for their return, I was told I could not do so because they were on sale. I get that excuse if I had received sneakers as advertised and there was nothing wrong with them. But when a company advertises a shoe to be a sneaker and it is in fact not a sneaker, that excuse is unacceptable. In fact, I’m pretty sure this practice is illegal and I intend to report Intermix to the Better Business Bureau for false advertising and unfair and deceptive consumer practices. "

the worst

"Absolutely worst these people are all over you when you're ready to spend money like snakes, but something goes wrong they " can't help". i ordered some shoes online and never actually received them. i HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 2 WEEKS AND NOW IM TOLD I NEED TO WAIT ANOTHER 12 DAYS for some stpd investigation which makes no sense to me. No one wants to help and they keep dodging me around .. email correspondence is limited they barely answer and this makes no freaking sense. I will NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. they are thieves "

DO NOT ORDER FROM INTERMIX

"DO NOT ORDER FROM INTERMIX. I ordered OVERNIGHT shipping on a WEDNESDAY. Yes, the website references a 48 “processing” time. However, WHY would any service list something as “overnight,” charge $35, when really it is THREE day shipping? That is FALSE advertisement. When I called to be refunded for my fee of $35, after waiting FIVE days for my item, I was given a big “**** you” from the online sales associate as well as the manager I requested to speak to. The manager then told me to not shop with them again. They shouldn’t even be allowed to use the title “customer service.” Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience with an online retailer. Truly disgusting. The manager literally told me NOT to shop with them! Can you even believe that?! I told them I was returning the item (a $200 swimsuit) because of this treatment and they could not have cared less."

Horrible Online Customer Service/Experience

"I ordered an item from intermix and later received an email that the item was not available/in stock but they were trying to locate it??? I need this item for an upcoming vacation and should have never been able to purchase the item if it was not in stock. It's like stealing if you ask me. If you know the item is not available then the customer should know this and not be able to make a purchase.

So I then receive a cancellation of my order to due to their inability to locate the item and to appease they offer me 20% off of my next online purchase but get this...the offer was only valid until July 14, 2018 and the cancellation notice w/the offer was sent to me on 7/20/18. So basically the offer wasn't valid, just as my original purchase wasn't valid.

Done shopping with them online! Done!!!

"If item is on sale it cant be returned!! So ridiculous considering everything in that store is SO expensive! And specially online orders should be allowed returns because you have no idea how it’ll fit"

Unethical

"I ordered 2 dresses from intermix. Received the shipment on a Thursday. Returned it that Monday. By that Friday I received the dresses back claiming wear and tear. Intermix refused to process the return. The dresses, in my possession only a couple of days, had the tags on and have never been worn. I called customer service at intermix and after speaking with a supervisor, they refused not only to refund me but they wouldn’t escalate or investigate the matter further. Their customer service is disgraceful. I find it highly unethical to not accept merchandise back that clearly has not been worn. I will never shop online again and will be raising this further to the better business bureau."

Great store online and instore.

"Beautiful selection of merchandise. Excellent sales. They unload the old at great pric When you order online merchandise arrives in 1-2 days free. Easy free returns. I have never had a problem with this store, and have shopped there for many years. Always nice helpful employees. American Express gives great reward when you shop there. And they almost always have a deal going on. They know how to move their merchandise. LOVE!"

New Jersey Sales Tax Being Charged

"After purchasing over $1500.00 of clothing items on the website i went to checkout and realized that sales tax was being charged on my order despite having the items delivered to a Bergen county New Jersey address and having my billing being the same. If you are a resident in Bergen county New Jersey and are shipping your order to a Bergen County New Jersey Address there is 0.00% sales tax on clothing yet if you go on-line and purchase through intermix.com they will still calculate and charge you sales tax on the order despite this fact.

After contacting customer service they said it is automatic and there is nothing they can do except transfer it to management who will contact me within 72 hours which in this case is way to long. Not only is it the Christmas season, they also have a big on-line sale today which i assume will be attracting more Bergen county consumers. Either the consumer will notice and not place the order which will result in substantial decrease in sales for this region OR the consumer will not immediately realize and they will be over charging these customers based on an incorrect tax assessment that management and IT are not immediately addressing.

Saying this, i would think that a company as big as intermix would have their website more up to date and accurate as it pertains to applicable sales tax for purchases made and delivered to different states... it makes me wonder what else they are over charging and/or incorrectly collecting on. I am confident that this will be resolved because it is indisputable but to wait 72 hours on such an issue is too long. For this to not be able to be immediately addressed is not smart from a business, operational and marketing perspective in my opinion.

Will let you know in 72 hours of the outcome.

Their online service is horrible

"Items ordered were incorrect and call center was non supportive to help resolve issue. I then called their corporate HQ in NYC and they also did not want to offer resolution. I am now stuck with brand new merchandise that can't be returned for other goods in the store - did not even request a refund, just the correct product."

Do not order before reading my review

"I would like to share my terrible experience with intermix online.
I ordered 4 items, received 3.
After chasing them for weeks, they managed to send me my missing item.
As soon as you make a purchase ur trapped.
One of the items was defected and the other 3 do not fit!
The product description is not precise, they are made quite small for an average size woman.
I had an accident the same week, I twisted my ankles, so I had to rest for 2 weeks.
I called them after the 14 days, they refused to exchange any of my items because I passed their ridiculous 14 days return policy for international customers.
I am very disappointed, and I wanted to share my terrible experience so everyone is aware.
