"I wanted a rug to match the colour scheme in a newly built extension which made my previously small kitchen into a kitchen/diner. I was delighted to find a rug the exact colours and design I had in mind and I was also able to pick the exact size to fit into the room.
I thought I was dealing with a British company given that the name was iRugs UK, but after placing the order I used the tracking tool check on the status, only to find that it was being shipped from South Carolina in the US. The "Next Day Shipping" promise was carried out, but instead of receiving my rug in a couple of days inside the UK, it took a week to be transported across the Atlantic.
My order was delivered on time as per the tracker, so that part of the process was very good. On opening the packed rug I soon realised that the rug was not to the standard I was expecting. The rug was much thinner, and if I'd seen it in a shop I'd probably not have ordered it. It was also wrapped so tightly around a small cardboard tube it has been hard to make the rug lay flat to the floor. Hopefully this will settle after it had been flat for a few more days?
I have been in contact with iRugs since the delivery and I must say the after-sales service is very good. They have offered me a couple of options, and I have taken an option to keep the rug and take advantage of a partial refund. My initial rating of 3 stars has now been increased to 4 stars.
It's was also lovely to have received some tips on getting the creases removed from the rug . . . . very good service.
