"I was looking for a new online partner. I can tell you they will NOT be it. 6+ days without an order confirmation and not one response to my attempts to reach customer (non)service.
Horrible way to do business and let me tell you, everyone I know will know NOT to waste their time with these folks.

"It scares the hell out of me to know that I have visited their website many times, and only two days ago made my first purchase.
I hope that I have a better experience than you all had. I placed an order two days ago and have received 18 emails already! So you are right on the money with the spamming done by this company. Totally unnecessary.
I am more concerned about whether my order will be shipped and if it will be sent in a reasonable amount of time. I will post again when and if I receive my cigars.

UPDATE:
I received notification from USPS that my cigars are out for delivery. I am not sure what was going on with all the complaints posted here. I am guessing that the company was badly affected by Covid. This purchase went very smoothly for me. I placed my order last Saturday, March 6th, and they will be arriving today. I was really concerned. Hopefully the quality of the cigars is good. We shall see! For now, I am increasing my rating from 3 stars to 4."
"Their pricing is attractive however that comes with some negatives.
- Their shipping is abysmal. No notification an order had been made and no notification of when or if it was going to ship.
- EMAILS. OH MY GOD. In this day and age how does a company NOT understand that there is no need to send out half a dozen email a day to current customers? When I queried customer service via chat about this, I was told there was nothing that could be done, but that I "didn't want to miss out on a great deal!"
I'll tell you what. I'll go ahead and pay 6% more and buy from a competitor, just so I my email inbox doesn't get raped by your ridiculous email/spam service. "
"Read all of the other reviews. I placed an order on January 2nd, of 2021 and after two weeks I checked to see what was going on. They printed a label out but never shipped the order. I called their customer service and they started to blame the post office. The first person I talked to said it was there, but was just waiting to be scanned. The second time I called their customer service, they said the USPS is having trouble scanning packages and that it was mailed. They don't give you straight answers and they also argue with you. No wonder why these companies are getting wiped out by Amazon. Something tells me that I will never see my refund that I requested."
"One start was the lowest rating possible - otherwise they'd get zero. They will take your money and not ship your order. You'll then get a huge runaround and no refund. They seem to hope you'll tire and give up.
Lots of complaints on the North Carolina BBB page and other complaint pages. Similar issues - this company must be experiencing some serious financial trouble. So, it would seem they are stealing from consumers.
Our next step on our stolen funds is civil action. All of us impacted need to notify the State of NC's Attorney General because just my complaint may not get much attention - but hundreds or thousands of complaints surely will. They will keep lying to you that they'll credit your card - but they don't. STRAIGHT OUT THEFT OF FUNDS."
"I just called customer service about an order placed a week ago that hasn’t even shipped yet. I was told there is nothing I can do except wait two more weeks at which time I will be able to cancel the order. If they cannot ship an order within a week I do not want to do business with them anymore and Walmart."
"Placed an order 12/27/2020. Shipping label printed 12/28/2020. As of today 1/5/2021 the post office says they have not received the order. I called to see if the order was stalled at the post office or the warehouse. They confirmed that the order had not been sent to the warehouse. They insisted they were unable to transport the order from the warehouse to the post office. This sounds crazy, so I asked again, and they confirmed again. I was told that there was nothing "they could do" until 1/18/2021. Either I am not being told the full story, or their management is incompetant. That said I now receive 3 or 4 emails a day asking for another order (like rubbing salt in a wound). Customer service seemed unable to do anything, just listen to complains (Nice enough person however,,,,)
This is my second order from them. The first order went though without a hitch in a timely manner.
Why did the print the label if they can't ship the product? At best very poor customer interaction, at worst ....

"When placing an order online using a birthday code that was emailed to me, when I confirmed my order in addition to the cigars I ordered I was to receive, 2 coffee cups, 2 espresso cups & an ash tray. These items were all listed when I was asked to confirm my order, which I did. When the order confirmation email arrived the ash tray & espresso cups were not listed. I called and spoke to Rebecca. She told me because I used the birthday code the other items were removed. I requested that the order be canceled, she told me that the warehouse already printed the order and it could not be canceled. I asked for a supervisor and she disconnected the call when I told her I was not happy with her performance."

"I was just notified the order I placed on 12/06/2020 that approved by credit card company was deined by JR Cigars security vertification system. I successfully placed an recieved a order from them on September 9, 2020 without a problem. The customer service representative refered me to "terms of use agreement" for further clarity. I'm just a causual cigar smoker that decide to buy a box of cigars from what I thought was a reputable company. This experience is beyond ridiculous, I'll buy my cigars elsewhere!!!"
"What happened to JR Cigars?
I placed an order for a package on December 6th. I paid close to 30$ extra for priority mail. The package was stated to be arriving on December 9th.
It is December 16th as I write this. As you can guess, my package never arrived. Thus far it has been stuck in pre-shipment.
This is completely unprecedented. Over the last several years, I have ordered with priority shipping, and it was worth the extra dollar.
I don't know what happened, but something has gone terribly wrong with JR Cigars.
When I contacted them in regards to this matter, I was lied to by a representative, who tried to pin the blame on USPS, and claim that it was their fault.
This is a blatant lie, as USPS confirmed that that they had never received my package.
The worst part about this is that I can't even get a refund until my package arrives, or so JR cigars claims. I cannot afford to feed myself, let alone afford return postage.
I will no be ordering from JR Cigars, as it is abundantly clear that they are no longer reliable or trustworthy, and I strongly urge anyone who reads this to do the same.
What a year 2020 has been. We have watched a nation fall, and a once reliable business become little more than another corporate scam.

What this is, is another blatant attempt at passing the blame to USPS.
I have reviewed the details of this case with them, and they have confirmed that they have not received a package in my name.
To add insult to insult, JR Cigars is not only lying about the status of my shipment, but are refusing a refund until the package has shipped to me, and is then returned by me.
It also says in the message above, plain as day that they won't refund the returned product until fourteen days after it was returned.
This is a scam, designed to steal money from customers, and absolve JR Cigars of any and all personal responsibility.
It is not honest, nor profesional, and I will be pursuing legal recourse to the utmost extent of the law until this matter is resolved.
I strongly advise anyone who has been exploited by this fallacy masquerading as a reputable company, to do the same.

"Scam company. Bought t52 box. Then a day later they email me saying there not in stock and they'd refund my money. They only refunded me when I opened a claim with PayPal and threatened to report to BBB. "
"Ordered 6 disposable electronic cigars which have approximately 1500 puffs per cigar. None of them worked properly at all. You had to puff hard on them about 8 deep puffs before any vapor/smoke would come out and then very little at that. I've had these from other sellers before and they worked great. I threw them all away after reading all the complaints of people who didn't get refunds."
