"...however this might be the first time I've bought anything directly from their website and there are some annoying aspects to their site. First is the popup that interferes with your view of your shopping and is constantly telling you what others have bought. I could care less. I opted out of it and the site claimed it wouldn't appear for a week. But it came right back - so they have a back end issue. I don't want to ever see the someone else bought green spray paint. How annoyingly irrelevant and disrespectful. Second is the totally erroneous offer for an extended warranty. I bought a spray cleaner and a spray adhesion promoter. How ridiculous to offer an extended warranty for a spray can. And again, even after opting out of the extended warranty at checkout - they still sent me an email and a scummy, misleading one at that, after I completed payment - telling me to: Rest easy knowing you’ve got additional protection set up after your manufacturer warranty ends. And that I should add the plan for $3.09. And here is what's included in the extended warranty for my Waterborne Degreaser: (1) Hassle-free repairs (2) Simple repairs and/or replacements (3) Power surges and electrical failures (4) Zero Deductible (5) 24/7 Online Customer Support.
What a clown barn. As the late great Sam Kinison used to say - usually idiots are spread out - one to a village.
Instead of all this time wasting stupidity - what about shipping out my order (placed at around 11am) the same day.
I guess that is to much to ask. Clearly these people don't mystery shop themselves. Or they would already know what really matters.
UPDATE: My order was shipped after midnight and I received tracking information. But as further proof that this company is really clueless about the things that matter - my tracking email shows the shipper as "OTHER" and the hyperlinked tracking number itself is broken. Figured out it was Fedex Ground and my package might be here as soon as Monday which is way faster than I expected it. So JB Tools won some points back there but made me jump through hoops to guess who they used as a shipper. Instead of making sure that their order tracking system works correctly - these people spend time and resources on worthless, time wasting, insulting emails like trying to upsell you with a warranty for a spray cleaner. They are just completely stunned. I upgraded my shipping rating by 1 star to a 3 but overall this was still a below average experience.
2ND UPDATE: Turns out they split shipped my order without any clear notification. So I have now wasted more time trying to track down the balance of my order. Customer service couldn't provide an immediate answer. They had to "make a call" and call me back. That was a day ago. An absolute trainwreck of a company. So I've downgraded by shipping rating back to a 2."
