"I went there, looking for a job and realized NONE of the jobs existed they led me to. Worse than that, it sent me in circles and tried to send me to college and sign me up for credit cards. This so-called "service" only exists to confuse and mislead people NOT to get them jobs."
"The first big problem is you cannot read a job requirement, details or benefits of the job on Job Hat! They ask when can you start? I filled out their name address and phone number (Big Mistake)! I got bombarded with text messages about jobs unrelated to what I was interested in! I started reponding STOP STOP! Finally they did stop, horrible
site!!"
"I'm searching for a position to relocate back to my home city. JobHat will send emails with links to companies I'm interested in, mainly in Aviation. When I click on the link...IT DOES NOT GO DIRECTLY TO THE COMPANY/JOB. I have to click through numerous offers of ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST and I NEVER GET TO THE JOB LINK I CLICKED ON IN THE FIRST PLACE. The site is a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME as you WILL NEVER GET TO THE JOB YOU CLICKED ON IN THE FIRST PLACE! The site is total RUBBISH!"
"I have looked up jobs in the past. They are still advertising old worn out jobs.
That's false advertising. Thank you."
"I don't know if it's an ID theft scheme, but you won't get any legitimate jobs from them. Probably somewhere in that scam you give them all the info they need to steal your ID.
For sure you'll get a lifetime of SCAM emails that will never stop (never with their contact info included), offering you jobs at ridiculous high pay, in fields you have no skills for. I've been getting "Purchasing Manager" listings for up to $115,000/yr.
All requests to stop are ignored. JOBHAT.COM doesn't even publish their privacy policy."
"JobHat is posting open positions for our company without solicitation. They are sending emails out to high school students for highly specialized clinical positions requiring a masters degree. From review of the ratings on this website I can see this is a problemed agency at best. Clearly when you do not have a posted contact number on your website you do not want to have customer contact. I do not appreciate my company's good name being used as cannon fodder for their nefarious purposes. "
"Jobhat is a bad company. they send tantalizing emails about Jobs I might like. Every single time I have been dumb enough to click the link, THERE IS NO JOB! I wish google would shut down these fake brands using google services. stay away from jobhat, Now I can unsubscribe, sad to see so many people had the same bad experience."
"I clicked on an ad from these guys which said a very specific employer in my field was hiring in my area. Took me through several "sign up" pages and then just gave me a generic list of jobs, none of which were for the advertised employer. I immediately submitted a CCPA data deletion request (the link is buried deep in their privacy page) and I encourage everyone who accidentally falls for their scams to do the same. "
"Probably sold my personal info. Honestly I wasn't thinking straight when they asked about it. In hindsight I'm a **** dumbass, constantly cursing my naive stupidity. Now my inbox and phone are being spammed with fake job emails/texts. The texts apparently have an unsubscribe option, luckily (which I hope is real and not a false claim). The emails I've received so far have been pretty tame, especially with the unsubscribe option, unlike some of the reviews I have seen on here. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse from here, and I hope they get taken down."
"Saw an ad saying the USDA forestry was hiring and jumped at the chance. After I gave them my phone and email for contact, they kept redirecting me to the job listings. Decided to google it and lo and behold, it's a **** scam site. They just want your contact info to sell **** to."
"Fake. Don’t waste your time."
"The only reason i clicked on this site was because i was fed an add about job openings in my area for LEGO. when i entered my location information i got an alert that said there was indeed job openings for LEGO specifically in my area. The site proceeded to ask me a few more questions before giving me a list of job openings and to my utter disgust not a single one of the dozens of jobs they listed for me were for LEGO, and at the top of the page it now says there are NO job openings for LEGO in my area!! On top of that the majority of the jobs listed weren't even in my area, some were for jobs in cities or countys hours away from me!! This site is dishonest and a waste of time!!"
"How can I get rid of this. They don't send emails with an unsubscribe link; they've somehow hacked my browser. Go away jobhat!"
"They had an add about US forest service jobs. Working with forest service might be interesting so I wanted to see what they had to offer. I went through the steps good thing I gave them an email for junk mail but I did put in my phone number so I can probably expect some more unwanted calls and when I got to an actual list of jobs it was all grocery stores, gas stations and fast food places. There were no forest service jobs at all."
"Zero ability to match jobs. Will not go away despite assurance that I will not receive anymore notifications. "
