Can’t get that kind of quality from the chain pet stores. "

"I order fruit flies from them a lot and sometimes they come in dead since the box was mishandled by shipping. Whether it was turned upside down or whatever. But I have always informed joshs frogs and they have always either reshipped new or refunded (my choice) quickly. Its not their fault that shipping can’t read a label that says “live, keep rightside up” . Would ALWAYS recommend them!"

"I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan, and during the winter months, it can be very difficult to get live insects locally. My only real option is to order them, but then I have to worry about delivery in zero degree weather. I’m so happy that I found out about Josh’s frogs from a local feed store in Houghton, MI. Each time I’ve ordered my insects, they arrived on time - the few worms that may not have made the trip in zero-degree temps were automatically replaced bc Josh’s Frogs adds 10% more insects to your purchase for JUST that reason. Anytime you order a live plant or animal, it’s a toss up, but Josh’s Frogs is such a great company. I know they would do their best to assist me if my insects arrived dead or if I didn’t receive them in a timely manner. Josh’s Frogs is my only insect retailer and I plan to stick with them forever. "I've used the company for a few years now, and so far I have not been let down! They always have seemed to over supply my insects so to account for any die-offs during shipping. I have had many orders arrive 100% ALIVE, even during the winter months when the live arrival is hit or miss, all because they had included a FREE heat pack that usually you would purchase for a few bucks, but I'm cheap. I had one issue a long time ago with terrible shipping (dead do to being handled and tossed around in shipping), but that was not a problem I snapped a pic and as soon as they saw the email they sent me a fresh order at no charge (no shipping charges either) Josh's Frogs will continue to be my go to supply store for my lovely creatures! "Well they start out by offering a wide variety of stuff on their website, which is great if you actually get it. I ordered a couple of heat lamps for snakes. The problems started when they asked for a bizrate survey as soon as I finished checkout. Okay weird whatever. Then a couple days later I get an email that they don’t have my address. How does one not get an address when placing an order to them? Dunno but I gave them my address and assumed problem solved because they told me it was. I then waited patiently for two weeks (shipping was supposed to be 3-5 business days), reread the initial email saying they were supposed to send me a tracking code when the items shipped. I never got a tracking code. So I emailed them and got a response that they had canceled my order. I needed these items like a week before. So I was not happy. At least they didn’t charge me. The lady said I could try ordering again. Nope. Sorry. If you can’t even tell me my order was cancelled and I have to find out by contacting you, I’m not going to waste my time with that again. If you genuinely were sorry for wasting my time you would’ve offered like a 10% discount as a reconciliation of yall’s screwup or something. Plus they keep sending me emails on feedback of customer service and please review us! Why on earth do you want someone to review you when they straight up told you they will never order from you again??? Anyways here’s the review you requested of my experience."
