"I ordered a replacement battery for my Acer Aspire 1410 according to the model information on their website. When I received the battery, it was not the correct one (it would not even fit into the battery compartment). I arranged to return the battery and exchange it for the correct one, at my cost since the mistake was "not on their part" (though, arguably, when you have incorrect or incomplete information on your website which leads a consumer to purchase the wrong product, it is your fault). After paying for the return shipping for the more expensive but correct part, I received the battery and installed it per their instructions included in the packet. I followed the instructions exactly as they were printed and yet the new battery is even more useless than the battery I replaced. It does not hold a charge at all and I cannot use my laptop unless it is plugged in. As soon as I unplug it, my laptop instantly dies. I considered returning the battery AGAIN but was too frustrated and I didn't feel like paying the return shipping fee and losing part of the price of the product. Also, I was out of time as the reason for my purchase was to enable me to use my laptop to take the bar exam the following month. Instead, had to borrow a different laptop as mine was useless. Their customer service, though it proved ultimately useless, was at the very least courteous and helpful when we were trying to determine which battery was actually the correct battery for my laptop."
