Then when I call to find out why, I'm promptly told it's my fault because they say it takes "3 days" to process. Hmmmm. 3 days in KnifeCountryUSA.com's world must be like 6 days to the rest of us. My fault, huh?

"I am a return consumer of this seller subsequent to learning the hard way of getting counterfeit merchandise and going through the hassle of getting things resolved. Knife Country provides genuine articles, at a good price, in a timely manner. "
"Placed an order on 8 January and they charged my credit card immediately. 29 January and nothing had arrived, checked order status and their website says the knife is backordered from manufacturer. I was never notified and it appears they would never have notified me it I hadn't checked the status.
Here in Texas we call this an interest free loan.
I have request they cancel the order and credit my account.

I would advise against dealing with anyone that charges your card before they ship the merchandise"
"Poor experience all around at Knife Country. I live about an hour and half away and can't believe how much time I've wasted trying to get my order corrected. With the understanding that it was a holiday order, I cut them some slack, but after 3 mistakes-- I can't believe this operation is still in business.
I placed my order on the 20th of December, a late gift, with NO expectations that the item would arrive in time for the holiday. When I phoned in on the 23, requesting a tracking number, I was notified that while my order had been marked fullfilled-- that did not mean it had shipped.
On the 24th, I logged in again to find the order had shipped and a tracking number had been updated. The tracking number was express mail so I got verbose information on the status. By the evening of the 24th, my knife landed on a doorstep 3 states away (wrong shipping address). I figured mistakes happen and waited until the customer service team was back on from their holiday vacation.
On the 29th, the first day Knife Country had re-opened following the holiday I called in and left a voicemail requesting a callback with all of my order information and the shipping issue I experienced. I waited all afternoon for a call, but no one replied. Again, chock it up to being busy, so I gave them a call back.
The customer service rep on the phone couldn't tell me why the knife had shipped to the wrong state, but told me he'd look into and send me an email to my address on file with a status update and new tracking information. Needless to say, this never arrived.
Fast forward to January 3, I have finally received a knife from the company-- albeit the WRONG KNIFE. It appears that Knife Country shipped their last remaining stock to the wrong address and substituted this blade in place of the original one I've ordered, WITHOUT CONFIRMING with me that this was acceptable.
I will never deal with this company again. I've chased them for updates, they've made more mistakes than are excusable even for a busy time, and they clearly don't value a customers satisfaction.
