"I purchased 2 items (a pair) as a gift for a friend. I decided to check the status of the order and, after really hunting, I noticed that "1" was getting ready to ship. I double checked the order and yes, I did order 2. I also checked my Paypal account and yes, the full charge was pending.
I called Customer Service to question it and sure enough, they only had 1 in stock, and that 1 was being packed to ship to me as we spoke. First, this should have been shown on my order before I completed it. Second, there was no chance of backorder! I was told that I'd have to keep watching the site for it to come back! This was a gift and I needed a pair so one does me no good whatsoever.
On the plus side, the young man that I dealt with on the phone was excellent at his job...pleasant, knowledgeable and willing to dig a little to answer my question correctly. The other plus is that the original order of 2 qualified for free shipping but when the item shipped, they did not charge me the shipping charge even though it was below the limit.
I will try Kotula's again, but next time it will be a phone order."

"Once my order was placed, I was told that it would arrive between 3-5 days upon shipping. That was true, but what they forgot to mention was that "shipping" might not occur for 5-7 days. A bit deceitful and misleading."
