"While the sale price on this tool, the OLD TIMER SPLNTR CARVIN KNIFE, was good, and it was rapidly shipped, when the tool arrived I discovered that oneof the blades (the v-parting blade) was horribly mis-shaped. it is very lopsided and unusable as it was when it arrived. I am deciding now if I will return it, or if I will regrind the blade myself. While re-shaping the blade would be quicker than sending it in for exchange, it will also shorten the life of the blade by about half, as it was that poorly ground. I realize this is a problem with the manufacturer rather than with Kotula's, but I do wish Kotula's had done a quick visual inspection, which would have revealed the problem before the tool was shipped. I also realize that, since it was an issue at the factory, if I exchanged it for another one I might get a replacement that has the exact same problem or worse."

"Package came when stated. A couple scratches/scrapes/dents were on one of the legs but likely was from transit. The package arrived with all pieces...and since it was a gazebo going to be placed out in the elements...I really can't fault the seller with that so I would purchase from Kotula's again."
