"Love all the teachers and staff. Always so nice and genuine."
"Generally, we've been happy, but I do feel that with the high turnover, the curriculum has been suffering somewhat. I do love most of the current teachers, and I love the director & assistant. I feel they are doing the best they can with the resources they have at their disposal."
"Good curriculum, caring staff. I love them. I just wish the cost was less."
"Great. Our baby is always happy when we get her!"
"Tour person was great. We stayed in the infant room a little longer as that was the only place you could carry on a conversation."
"The open room setting I felt was loud environment and could be difficult to learn in."
"LaPetite Avon has wonderful staff members and are in a since our family. My child loves LaPetite and the friends she has acquired at the school."
"My son came home on two separate occasions with scratches from another student on his face, within a two week period. After speaking with the director, I felt confident the issue would be resolved. The next week my son came home with a BITE mark on his face. The director expressed to me that at this age scratching and biting is common and literally did nothing to resolve the issue. Upon asking his teachers which student was scratching/biting my son, they expressed that they had no idea. Not one of the teachers could tell me which kid scratched/bit my son. Who is watching these kids? One incident that had happened when my son's face got scratched there was only one teacher in the room with the 10 children. Yes, it was nap time, but the ratio of children to teachers is suppose to be 10:1 at all times. Why was the other teacher out of the room? If there would have been 2 teachers in the room, my son's face may have not been scratched. Dropping off or picking up my son was somewhat chaotic. There was always teacher and directors running around with kids. Some kids didn't have pants on. They were taking kids out of one classroom and trying to put them in another classroom, which was already full. It seemed like they were understaffed and had too many kids enrolled and was trying to keep protocol. All in all I will never be bringing my son back to La Petite."
