"The school was good in the beginning when my child was an infant, but she is getting older now and she needs more stimulating activities to keep her engaged."
"We have been mostly satisfied with the school. The past year has been challenging. The director left. We never see the interim director. She’s never visible. My child isn’t really learning anything new. The school can’t seem to follow licensing guidelines."
"Too much money. Not enough staff. Terrible director. Most families leave by the time their kid is 4 because there is no curriculum or challenge for those children."
"We love La Petite Academy! Our daughter has thrived there and we have confidence that the care she receives there is exceptional. The teachers and staff have been valuable partners in helping us navigate being first time parents with supporting us through milestones of tummy time, crawling, and walking, bottle to soft/solid food transitions, naps, etc. We're so thankful that we found a school that is so supportive to our family!"
"It’s been a good school overall. I wish the infant teachers were a little more interactive with the babies besides eating and diaper changes. It would be nice if they did some intentional playtime to help the infants meet milestones."
"Unacceptable accept the two teachers were tq"
"Great staff, I appreciate all the teachers showing love to my daughter!"
"Our general overall experience has been pretty gd"
"Our overall experience has been good, especially more recently. However, there are consistency issues among the teachers, which makes communication difficult at the beginning and end of every day. The constant turnover of teachers and consistency in the same room does not allow a relationship to build between the students and staff."
"Overall the teachers really care but I wish they had a more structured curriculum for my 4 year old"
"The entire staff operates this center in the most competent and flexible way. They make it WORK. The take care of my grandson and cheer on their students in the best way. They have the confidence of their students and concerned parents. Bravo!!!"
"My overall experience has been good. The beginning was hard for my husband and I, as well as our infant. It’s never easy letting other people care for your child, especially when you see them crying or not being fed on schedule, but our experience has improved greatly over time. Our baby is being given a lot more tummy time and mat time to practice developmental milestones. I would still love to see more teacher/infant interaction/play (music, books), but it is still better than it was. Diaper changes and feedings have been frequent and on schedule now as well. While I know it’s not always possible with 2 adults to 6 babies, it is still disheartening to watch your baby cry for more than 20 minutes without an adult intervening. We hope our experience continues to get e in the future!"
"We love how warm and friendly the teachers are! They genuinely care about my son’s wellbeing. We feel very comfortable knowing he is in their care."
"Terrible. Shutdown last summer due to licensing issues. Terrible communication to parents when this was occurring and NO apology was issued. Teachers are loving to my child but do not communicate well at times. Whenever I call the school, I can never get through and no one responds to voicemails. Extremely overpriced for the value. Meals should be included with how expensive this school is."
"I think my experience has been inconsistent. I am hopeful that under this relatively new leadership, the staffing will stabilize and the school will more consistently live up to its potential. My son’s classroom has recently stabilized and we delighted by that and very pleased with the quality of his new teachers. We hope our daughters’s classroom will stabilize soon."
