"La Petite has a very kind and understanding Director at the location I take my children to. Yes, the turnover is high for teachers, but I feel that it is hard to find people who will stay and actually interact with the kids, be a teacher that is needed. The teachers that both my children now have tell me of every concern or wonderful things my children have throughout the day, and always ask if they can do anything to help or ask for better ways to help my children. I hope these teachers stay and continue to look after my children while I work. The location we are currently at was a wonderful place and has had it’s downs, but it is slowly getting back to how it was when I first enrolled my first born."
"The infant room teachers are absolutely amazing!!!! I wished my child got to spend more time with them."
"My son mostly has had a lot of his teachers leave and i feel like it has affected him a lot. It makes me upset that a lot of his friends have left due to the same reason as well. I feel as though consistency and a nurturing environment is what keeps a child positive, and a schedule gives them structure. Since the teachers keep leaving, the structure isn’t there and there is not enough time to grow a bond with the children."
"I would love to see some responsibility taken and an action plan from the school instead of constant excuses for why my child continues to be painfully assaulted by the other children in class. This school has failed to provide my child with a safe environment to the point my daughter comes home crying after receiving more bruises from other children."
"Teachers and Alyc have been responsive and polite. Director (Kristen) is rude, dismissive, and rarely present. When she is there she can be heard talking loudly with staff. Often in a gossipy tone. She is more of a distraction to the classroom milieu, than she is helpful to the assigned staff. The facility is understaffed, unclean, and chaotic. Age groups are not properly segregated to avoid spreading germs. Staff appear inexperienced and lacking training."
"I love how the stuff reach check on my baby when she is sick. The director is very nice. I understand that everyone is different, but when you work with kids. You got to be a nice and friendly person. Please tell me what you teach to my kid and give her the attention she needs. Wash the water bottle and and please give then fresh water everyday. Watch the kids when they are in the bathroom. They have to be supervised in the bathroom. Beside that, thank to everyone for helping me taking care of my child."
"I like la petite for both of my children. They love it there. I just don’t like that I still have to pay full tuition on days that the school is closed due to holidays or weather. Besides that, my 6 year old is doing amazing in kindergarten thanks to his years that he has spent at la petite"
"Alec / Kirsten are amazing - they helped us get our daughter enrolled and happy. We love the school."
"I absolutely love the school. Even though we live in Rogers the staff, atmosphere, and general love my son has for the school make it well worth the drive to drop him off and pick him up."
"La Petite Academy has been all around the best daycare I have ever placed my child in."
"The teachers are amazing and truly care about my child. They ensure that she is right on track developmentally, and care about her progress."
"I've had a very positive experience with LPA. I would absolutely recommend it. My only concern is how often staff seemed assigned to new rooms, but I understand that's the nature of childcare as well. I just know it can be a challenge for babies and toddlers, as well as preschoolers, to adjust to new teachers."
"We r okay with the options so far"
"Very positive. I love the activities that they engage in with even the youngest students. my song is learning so much and is doing things I never expected at his age."
"Overall my experience has been positive. The teachers and director are understanding and try to help my child develop and grow. They are always pleasant, and my child loves each of the teachers very much. She interacts with the director daily and really enjoys going to this school. The only opportunities I've ever encountered (over the past 3 years) can be traced back to low headcount - teacher turnover, blips in cleanliness, and lack of communication at times tend to occur when the school is understaffed. I'd love to see more teachers and teacher assistants available during the day to ensure more one on one time."
