"Overall we've had a positive experience. We have considered, and will continue to consider, changing schools to see if better individual attention is available elsewhere. Instructions for our children are generally ignored or mishandled. One child has missed several classroom events because they were sent to another room due to too many children being present. We are very appreciative of the education our oldest is receiving, but because they are often moved to a younger room we have concerns they will start to lag behind actual classmates."

"It started off really well, but changes with the caregivers have really caused us to re-think staying enrolled here. Some of them are really good, but several of the caregivers do not hold the same values as my family does when it comes to caring for children. Some are unfriendly and seem annoyed when questioned about how our child was that day."

"I am happy with my child’s current teachers but I find there has been a lot of turn over here which I do not like. I’ve also heard other teachers yelling at the toddlers. If my child was in a toddler room I would definitely look for other daycare providers. Maybe it’s getting harder to fill these positions. Maybe a pay increase for our teachers is much needed to keep the good ones happy so they stay and feel appreciated."

"It has been good! I’d like to see a little more protein in the breakfasts served. It seems like the two breakfasts served are cereal and milk or a waffle. Fruit and some type of protein would be better than just a waffle by itself to keep the kids full and happy until lunchtime."

"Thus far, our experience with La Petit has been wonderful! The teachers are great, the directors are warm, inviting, and responsive! Since the beginning of my child's attendance here there have been some ups and downs and they are always sure to communicate to us what has occurred. On some of the down days, however, one of the teachers at pick up can definitely overextend her boundaries a bit. I feel that when there is an issue she tends to communicate it to us in circles, repeating herself, and even speaking over me to scold my child for the behaviors that are being addressed. Once, is enough for me to understand the problem, if I need something clarified I will ask; and once I pick up my child I will address any bad behaviors as I feel necessary, but continued scoldings from the teacher at the end of the day when the behavior in question was hours earlier just doesn't seem appropriate to me."

"I absolutely love this school. I feel so good when I leave my child because I know that he is cared for and loved. It is super important to me for my child to feel comfortable where he goes to school and for him to look forward to going everyday. We absolutely love Ms. Liz and all of the staff!! Ms. Kristen and Ms. Julie are always so kind and caring toward my child and always greet him by name which means a lot to me. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my child because it puts my mind at ease knowing that he is safe and cared for and happy."

"Overall I've really liked the majority of our experience with La Petite. Most of the staff is really great with my child, and very friendly with me. They've worked through some issues with us, and have been very nice. I've only has issues with two teachers that pushed me to think about moving my child from La Petite but they were resolved."

"It is clear the teachers, especially the regular teachers, care for my son. They are very sincere in their warm greetings. However, I wish I saw more interaction between the staff and the children. I feel like often the staff are just sitting around and the children are playing on their own. Would like to see more reading, singing, engagement, etc. I know it is hard to judge because we are there early and leave late, so it’s often not the regular teacher in there when I am in. But I want to know my son is getting a lot of interaction! More art/sensory activities for the infants would be nice too."
