"I can’t think of a better place for a childcare than La Petite Academy in Germantown. It was my first time being a single foster parent with no previous experience in caring for a child. Erika and Amy gave me the support I needed, not only at the childcare but tips for my daily activities. They were so supportive and caring towards me and my child. We felt welcomed there like a true family. My child’s teacher cared for him so much. He fitted right in, it felt very natural for him. It was his second home. "We came here because of the director after I met her. She clearly knows what she is doing and runs a great day care center. If she were to ever leave, we would be ready to leave as well. She makes us feel that leaving our son their is safe and well taken care of. I think you should be giving a better discount to local teachers to assist in the affordability. Teachers can always use more help and I would like to think that a daycare center would want to support their local teachers."

"We are generally very happy with the quality of the school. The director and assistant director seem very skilled at keeping the school organized, safe, and running well. We have had very good experiences with the teachers/staff. The only 2 complaints I have is that the head teacher for my 5 year old seems to only be there during main school hours, so we basically never see her because she's not there when we drop off and is gone by the time we pick up. It would be nice to have a little interaction with her. However, the assistant teachers are very welcoming and responsive to our questions. My other complaint is about screen time for the older kids. I would prefer for them not to have any screen time at all. My 5 year old is often using a tablet when I pick him up, or watching other kids playing video games."

"This school has undergone many challenges in leadership within the last three years. However the teachers always remained caring, loving, and supportive towards the children and families. I believe it’s because of them and current leadership that the school persevered. I’m looking forward to seeing more improvements in the near future."

She really cares about her kids and her staff.The brightwheel app is awesome, receiving pictures, videos and updates throughout the day makes it much easier on new parents to transition and trust your child is in great care."
