"Maria was very warm and friendly. She welcomed us and remembered our unborn daughter's name. I appreciated her and the friendliness of the other teachers as well!"
"The teachers have all been extremely nice to talk to and they really do care about the kids. The educational programs are great and really helped the kids go into kindergarten on the right foot. I do wish the director would get off her high horse at times and just level with the parents and the employees. Ms. Marie, Ms. Amelia, Ms. Angie, and Ms. Khaila have all been great to my kids. The kids talk about them at home and they have a really great bond with those teachers. I believe it's because of their dedication to their jobs."
"I think the teachers in the infant room are fantastic, which is what keeps me satisfied. Honestly, it is the administrative staff that frustrates me at times. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience at this school."
"Overall we are happy with La Petite. Our daughter likes going to school each day and the vast majority of the teachers and staff are incredibly warm and caring. We plan to stay with La Petite until our daughter enrolls in Kindergarten to have any other children we have attend La Petite as well. There are some things we'd love to see them improve...more time spent on meeting educational milestones, more opportunities to engage in science and nature, and a more sustainable campus committed to using products that can be composted and recycled and involving the kids in that process. Thank you for caring and continuing to look for ways to improve!"
"I just had my son out of school for a week of spring break and found out I still have to pay for it. I'm super unhappy with you people right now and I'm actively looki for a new school."
"my daughter love to go school everyday.the teacher&staff are very friendly.the food for kids which is protien food they provide."
"In general our experience has been good. Our child has grown a lot in the few months he's been there. We've seen big changes in how social he is and in his ability to play well with other kids."
"Maria was very warm and friendly. She welcomed us and remembered our unborn daughter's name. I appreciated her and the friendliness of the other teachers as well!"
"The staff really gets to know you on all levels, their genuine and are willing to do what it takes to make sure my child is comfortable and help with any issues or concerns."
"Colleen, the director is wonderful, along with Nikki and Nancy. I feel that my child enjoys his school and is learning, not just playing."
"I'm good with their programs. My concern are the bathrooms. They are dirty most of the time. I have a girl and I am super concerned about her going to the bathroom and having to use them."
"The staff at this school are always kind and courteous but I guess since my child is there as part of backup care, I feel like he is dumped there, left to his own devices and then I pick him up. I would love there to be a bit more 1:1 attention a part of my child's care and a little bit more structured time (homework time, reading time, play time). The school also looks a bit tired and disorderly/dirty. It could REALLY do with a lick of paint, some new furniture and a really good deep clean. Aside from this, my child seems happy and his teachers are always friendly and courteous and always say hi and bye."
"I like that the school is very clean and tidy. I like that things seem organized. There is a schedule and rhythm to the day. Each individual person seems to genuinely care for each child. Even if they aren't in their class they know their name and say hello and goodbye. I think that my child feels comfortable and cared for. There are lots of ways to build on this foundation of care. Really need to figure out the staffing ratios so children always have enough teachers with them and they are teachers they are familiar and comfortable with. Would be great to see more natural foods and paper plates and bowls that can be thrown in yard waste bin to compost. Would also love bilingual and science education opportunities and more opportunities to interact with nature like a garden the older kids can work in."
