"I bought a tin of 25% Shea butter recently. I had not bought it in some time, years, and so was shocked to see that the round tin container had, within it, another, smaller container, made, it looks like, of plastic. The inner container has large dents on either side, maybe to make removing UT easier? OR to employ shrinkflation, thereby giving you probably 10 to 15, maybe 20% less product, all the while bragging about how much plastic they've saved!! Rubbish! I will not buy this again. Sanctimonious liars. "

"I purchased one of their items as Christmas gift for my daughter, unfortunately I received the incorrect item. I trusted that a company like L’occitane could solve the problem and contacted customer service. The representative was extremely rude and unhelpful. I send an email explaining the situation and sharing my bad experience and I received a reply from the same representative “apologizing” but kept saying the same thing and gave me no solution at all. He refused to escalate the issue to a person who can make a decision and accommodate something so simple as sending the missing item which by the way was FREE or send a paid label to return it and take my business elsewhere. Itis unacceptable that a company with such prestige can get away with offering such poor service."
"I ordered a perfume as a birthday gift on October 4th. When i ordered it clearly said it would arrive on October 7th, it did not and still has not arrived. I called customer service on the 8th only to be told "sir it takes 3 to 10 business days". If so, why falsey make a customer believe it would be there on the 7th? I complained to the female customer service representative, only to be put on hold. Then transfered without being told i was being transfered. A man then picked up the phone and told me the same thing and basically tried to **** off. When i asked for a manager, he said he would have one call me back that day as they were in a meeting. Well, just like the perfume, i never got the call back and am still waiting. I would not recommend ordering from this place, as they treat you like crap."

"I ordered couple items online - never received, spent many hours with customer service proving I ordered, paid, didn’t receive. They stand by policy that if mistake made ordering - too bad so sad. I hadn’t noticed that after filling in address there was pop up with same address different city. Someone in London Ontario enjoying product. I escalated yo management and still no attempt to refund my $55 or resend product. Contrast with Aesop- I get a handwritten note thanking me for my business. I will NEVER buy From L’Occitaine. During the pandemic the company should be trying to provide online customers with good service. This company does not value their customers"
"I tried to purchase a Mother's Day gift from L'Occitane today. My experience? Awful - so much so that I am compelled to write a review. First, it is impossible to really see the products in the gift sets online. I decided to order anyway. Then, they are supposed to give you a free gift when you order over $75, which I had. After selecting the gift, the system told me the free gift was not available. I then added a $20 off first order of $50+ first time shopper coupon code that the system gave me. Still no luck! I decided to call at their toll free number - after being on hold for an hour, I gave up. Shame on you, L'Occitane. I gave you a shot. I am not going back!"

"I have been purchasing products from L'Occitaine for years but unfortunately have completely lost faith in their service so can no longer purchase from them. Recently a very expensive mail order from them went missing. After being advised by the postal service that the parcel was addressed incorrectly I tried contacting L'Occitane using their online form. After receiving no response I tried contacting by phone. The phone message advised there was no one to take the call and to lodge an online customer service form. This was a couple of weeks ago and still no response from them. I can no longer order with them now as they are unhelpful and unreliable."
"Misleading information about products!! I bought IMMORTELLE DIVINE EYE BALM €67,before reading carefully product description as I have sensitive eyes and it’s doesn’t say that it’s not suitable for sensitive eyes,after applying cream I have sore eyes ,redness and watery eyes,I contact to L’occitane costumer service and they said that they can replace for some another product,I sent back that bloody cream two weeks ago and in post office when I was sending back,they told that to send it back will take maximum 5 days,now two weeks are gone but they keep saying that they still didn’t receive anything!"

"Placed an order to get a present for my wife. Received an email with confirmation of order and then another email welcoming me to their "world". No shipping confirmation. 2 weeks after the order I send an email to check what's going on. No response. Nothing arrived after 20 days. Just called them and without even saying "sorry" they told me that my order was canceled because my billing address (my home) didn't match my shipping address (my office in the same area, so I can make a surprise present).
No email, no call to inform me. No apology, just offered me to re-order with same billing/shipping address. Sure.... "
"I’ve never used the product before and had a mini facial with Bobby at 170 5th Avenue New York. It was the most divine experience. I had a quick skin analysis and an introduction to the best beauty regime to suit my skin. My skin was glowing and I felt pampered. Bobby was wonderful. He wasn’t trying to sell the product but was sharing his passion. I worked away with a few products and many samples. I received a compliments about my skin afterwards. I’m a very happy customer and look forward to replace all my beauty product to this brand. "
