I never received the Pendant Light. I searched my order to find it and the company had marked the order complete even though the piece was missing. So two weeks and several emails with no response, I went on this am to their "chat". It took almost 15 minutes for someone to answer my chat, it is really important to realize they offer NO phone help, and trying to explain that they had coded the UPS tracking information incorrectly was a challenge. After about 40 minutes of back and forth, Brook basically told me the new delivery date now would be January 18, and they won't guarantee that. So because they messed up and now the product is out of stock, I have to wait 3 extra months for my matching lamp. And they offered nothing but a refund on the lamp which won't help me now as the other 2 have been hung. Their mistake, their issue, and I am out time, effort , money etc. I will never purchase from them again. "
"I have been totally blown away by lamps.com's customer service. Firstly, I ordered a lamp that was on backorder. They contacted me right away with the expected delivery date and an offer to cancel my order if the date wasn't acceptable. They then kept me updated on delivery progress.
When the lamp arrived, I found that the glass shade had a chip in one pane, and a crack in another. I contacted customer service again, and their response was "Please track the progress of your replacement with FedEx tracking [####]. You may keep, discard, or donate the damaged fixture."
This is the most customer-focused, exceptional on-line business I have ever encountered. I would definitely recommend lamps.com for any lighting purchase. "

"ordered 2 fixtures for a project, order processed and shipping
revived 1 tracking number and 1 item arrived, and email that we were complete.
i contacted customer service, they only then told me the other item was back ordered for 4-5 weeks.
this was acceptable for my timeline, so i requested a return label for the single item.
the customer service rep told me "the manufacturer needed to authorize the return and could take" 2-3 business days" , after receipt of the return label, i was then told the manufacturer could take 7-14 days to issue a refund.
this is not acceptable as my order was with lamps.com, they sold items they could not deliver and are willing to tie up my finds for this long on their mistake.
will not do business with them again "

"I really appreciate the insane selection lamps.com provides. However, it's really hard to judge just how well a lamp is going to fit into your decor. Given this, I'd expect them to be better at allowing returns. Instead, you're expected to pay for shipping, they're not always aware of how many boxes things arrived in (and therefore how many return labels you have to buy), and they're especially not clear on the fact that as soon as you install a lamp it's no longer returnable. Zappos is the best example of how to handle returns for hard to judge items (shoes). Lamps.com should take some lessons from them. "
