The only slight downsides were there happened to be a single dead pixel right in the middle of the screen, and the associated install video was not applicable ... and it would have been nice to know that no adhesive in the appropriate place was included in the replacement. But all told got the replacement screen installed within four days from when I decided to get one, and way cheaper than a warranty upgrade. (and got a higher res screen than original)"
