"I ordered a laptop screen on Monday morning, 8/26/19. I decided to pay for one day shipping which costed around $33. I was in need of the screen immediately because I am a teacher and use my laptop daily, so one day shipping was the best option. The laptop screen arrived Tuesday, but when I installed it, it didn't work. I contacted the company and they advised me that they would send me a new screen, one day shipping again, as soon as I dropped the defective screen off at FedEx. I did so the same day I received the screen, Tuesday night. A new screen was sent out and I received it on Thursday. I installed the screen and this one worked. I contacted the company asking for my overnight shipping fee back and they said they'd put a support ticket in for management to review. I was supposed to hear something back on Friday, but I didn't, so I contacted them. The customer service representative said two managers reviewed the ticket and my request was denied. I asked to speak to a manager and they said this wasn't possible. I asked why I wouldn't be able to and they said it was because the request was denied by them and talking to them wouldn't make a difference. I pressed the representative and they eventually stated I could call back Tuesday to speak with a manager, but my request would be denied more than likely. I told the representative that the $33 shipping was to get a working screen in one day. It ended up taking until Thursday to get a working screen and it wasn't fair for them to keep that shipping fee. I wasn't asking for the money back for the screen, because the new one did work out. The representative told me that because they had to pay to send the screen out a second time, they didn't want to give me the shipping fee back. I told the representative that it wasn't my fault the first screen didn't work, so I didn't know why I was being held liable for their dysfunctional screen and them having to send a second one. The representative said he didn't know what else to tell me, so we hung up and I still haven't been compensated for the one day delivery guarantee screen because they say they'll be out money and the situation was dealt in my favor somehow."
"A bunch of us over at https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=316641.0 were having problems with inexplicably damaged laptop screens. So, after much googling I ordered a replacement screen from laptopscreens.com, expecting that I'd receive some sort of "workalike" that was subtly different than the original.
Much to my surprise, I received, shortly after ordering, an exact replacement for the original which, upon installation, fixed the problem I'd had with the laptop for months.

"The removal of the old screen and putting in the new one was fairly easy. Total of 12 screws and unclipping the plastic face plate. The replacement had extra mounting screw spots available and slid into place. The 50 pin connector was probably the hardest thing to mess with. Had to really work to remove the clear plastic tape that held it. Putting the connector into the new screen was easier than removal of the old connection. Crossed fingers and everything booted up correctly. The new screen appears to be a bit better in contrast. Only very minor defect was one tiny pixel that is constant white but really not noticeable unless you have a completely black screen. "
