Another happy customer

"Not every company responds quickly to communications. This company does respond - in my case within 24 hours! I sent them my laptop model with my order just to be sure I was ordering the right display, and they confirmed it was the right part and shipped it. I got it super quick and installed it the same day.

I considered making a video to help others, but had already disassembled my laptop to get the part numbers on the old display before ordering. Disassembly is very important to keep from breaking anything, so I’ll let someone else create the video.

Awesome deal, quickly received, installed in under 10 minutes, works as expected.

"I was able to order the correct screen for my kid's laptop. Laptop Screen was prompt to ship the item.
They provide some instructions and videos on how to replace screens. Watched one of those videos to see what could be expected.
Turned out for my kid's laptop I did follow steps: take battery out, then only bezel needs removed, and then remove (and set aside) 4 small screws, disconnect broken screen from one small cable connection on the back, check that new screen is same type as broken one.
Put new screen in place, connect the cable back, put in the 4 screws, put bezel back and make sure slots clip in.
Put battery back, and power up laptop. Works,

Maybe it was Ok.

"I bought the screen, it arrived on time and fit my pc. With no instructions on the install, i was unaware that you nweed to disconnect the battery to install. Screen must have received a power discharge because it did not turn on. My bad i suppose. It would be helpful to provide some instruction on disassembly and reassembly. But then you wouldn't sell as many screens. I get it. "

Easy to cross-reference, good packing

"Armed with the laptop model, and 3 or 4 different identifying numbers on the back of a broken screen, LaptopScreen.com provided a nice and easy way to search by laptop brand/model for the screen I needed. It gave me the correct product number for the screen that I could cross reference back to the original tags on back of the broken screen. I believe I was even given the choice to order a matte finish, or gloss screen. Upon receiving my screen in the mail, even though the corner of the box was a bit bashed in, the screen was encased in 3 separate bubble wrap envelopes which kept it safe. I am a pleased customer.

Exactly what I wanted

"They sent me the replacement laptop screen in a timely manner, and had a helpful video on how to replace the screen. They later offered me a $20 rebate if I made a video showing how to replace the screen for my laptop model. I considered doing this but elected not to, because I am not good at recording videos. Overall a very positive experience and I cannot think of any ways that it could've been improved. I was also very happy with the price of the screen (around 50 - 60 dollars)."

Don't bother paying extra for shipping

"I ordered a laptop screen on Monday morning, 8/26/19. I decided to pay for one day shipping which costed around $33. I was in need of the screen immediately because I am a teacher and use my laptop daily, so one day shipping was the best option. The laptop screen arrived Tuesday, but when I installed it, it didn't work. I contacted the company and they advised me that they would send me a new screen, one day shipping again, as soon as I dropped the defective screen off at FedEx. I did so the same day I received the screen, Tuesday night. A new screen was sent out and I received it on Thursday. I installed the screen and this one worked. I contacted the company asking for my overnight shipping fee back and they said they'd put a support ticket in for management to review. I was supposed to hear something back on Friday, but I didn't, so I contacted them. The customer service representative said two managers reviewed the ticket and my request was denied. I asked to speak to a manager and they said this wasn't possible. I asked why I wouldn't be able to and they said it was because the request was denied by them and talking to them wouldn't make a difference. I pressed the representative and they eventually stated I could call back Tuesday to speak with a manager, but my request would be denied more than likely. I told the representative that the $33 shipping was to get a working screen in one day. It ended up taking until Thursday to get a working screen and it wasn't fair for them to keep that shipping fee. I wasn't asking for the money back for the screen, because the new one did work out. The representative told me that because they had to pay to send the screen out a second time, they didn't want to give me the shipping fee back. I told the representative that it wasn't my fault the first screen didn't work, so I didn't know why I was being held liable for their dysfunctional screen and them having to send a second one. The representative said he didn't know what else to tell me, so we hung up and I still haven't been compensated for the one day delivery guarantee screen because they say they'll be out money and the situation was dealt in my favor somehow."

“LaptopScreen.com guarantees a working replacement LCD or your money back!

All our screens are covered by a device lifetime manufacturer defects warranty, that protects the LCD against manufacturer defects for as long as it is installed in the device it was purchased for. Exchanges are provided at no cost to customer: we pay for the return shipping and we pay to ship out the replacement the same method that was originally used. We do not refund the original shipping costs in-case an RMA is needed to provide a working LCD.

Customer ordered a 15.6" screen for an Acer Chromebook, it was shipped the same day. Customer notified us that the screen would not turn on. We provided a return label at no-cost to customer and shipped a replacement over-night ahead of receipt of the return. The second replacement worked for customer. The first screen that was sent back by the customer turned out to be fully functional on our test bench.
