"DO NOT order from this company. I ordered a computer part for a motherboard, and they sent me a roller for a shower/tub, AND REFUSED TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK! My part, according to USPS tracking, went to South Dakota. The girl working there, "Brittney", said that I would not be able to get my money back "because the part was shipped". Again, DO NOT ORDER from this company. Their system is fouled up, and they have problems with their dropship company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!"

"I am very satisfied with the barebone unit I purchased from LeadComp. I received it on time, professionally assembled, with all parts, including a big CPU cooler being secured to withstand rough shipping. However the feet for my case GS1000 were missing so I couldn't use bottom fans. I contacted LeadComp, they contacted the manufacturer and finally sent me these missing parts. I recommend this company to anyone who needs custom built or barebone computers. "

"I purchased a hard-to-find server motherboard from LeadComp for the first time. The process was smooth, but the order did not ship in the 3-5 days as it was supposed to for the in-stock item. Being my first purchase from LeadComp, I was not sure whether they had a history of listing out-of-stock items as in-stock in order to get business and was ready to cancel the order, particularly after not receiving a response to my tech support e-mail.

However, it appears that it was just a bad luck as my order did ship with a few days delay and LeadComp did contact me to apologize for both the slight delay in shipping and for not responding timely to my e-mail.

Given that the product was an obscure one and that I received the shippment directly from the manufacturer, I believe LeadComp is a respectable and responsible vendor who really tried to make good after the initial delay.

I have not had experience with LeadComp's return department and do not know how good and helpful they are if an item is DOA or breaks within warranty.

"I decided to go with LeadComp based on the positive reviews here on resellerratings, and have not been disappointed.

I custom configured a top-of-the-line gaming system using exactly the components I wanted using the online store and placed my order. Within 15 minutes, a customer service rep called me to verify the order and find alternatives for my selected case which had been discontinued.

Even with the holiday season (order placed on 12/21), the system was built, tested, and shipped to me by 1/5. System arrived well-packaged and as ordered, with everything professionally installed.

Unfortunately, the system did not boot upon arrival, but a quick interaction with tech support helped resolve the problem (cpu and massive cooler needed reseated). The system has been running without failure for almost a week now. Thanks LeadComp.

"I must say I highly recommend LC to anyone looking to purchase a new custom built PC, both conservative and power. My story:
THE WEBSITE - Clean and organized. I found the core/bare system i wanted, and then a page of seemingly countless options.
THE PURCHASE - I configured my machine, and submitted my order, and asked for a rep to confirm my hardware's compliance. MINUTES later, i get a phone call from a representative. We went through my order piece by piece. He suggested better 'price per power' items, explained both upgrade and downgrade options (to fit my needs).
THE PRODUCTION - Good and bad. Good being they built the machine without flaw, fully installed. The bad being they took an extra week to make it. Perfecting and bench testing, for that, i'll wait.
THE FIRST BOOT
Updated OS, all drivers installed, all motherboard options enabled and running, software installed, fully working PC. Plug and Play.

I have built 4 gaming PCs for myself in the past, and decided to treat myself to having another slave over making it. I loved doing business with these smart, friendly, technical, patient, awesome people. I may never build my own PC again.

"Had a generally good experience with Lead Comp. I placed an order for a custom configured PC at night, and there was a price change at the same time, so the next morning I received a call from a sales rep and they tried hard to work with me to get a slightly modified (better) configuration at the roughly the same price.

The order was shipped approximately a week after I placed it; this time was used for assembly and testing. I received it in perfect condition with all the components I expected. I am enjoying my new PC. Lead Comp's prices are also pretty much the best out there for a custom PC, though there may be individual components that you can buy at better prices elsewhere.

All in all a good experience and I will shop there again.

"Thus far I have had a GREAT experience with leadcomp. Great customization options, very helpful sales staff, and I got an amazing deal! I have had the computer for about a month now and have had absolutely no problems! These guys seem to be high quality builders! I am playing BF2 on great settings with no problems! I hope that I don't have to call tech support, but if I do I think they are based in Cleveland, Ohio, not India so I might be able to actually understand them! Also, computer came with a 3 year warranty for free. This seems like a great company, I would definitely and have recommended them to all my friends and family!"

"ordered part from them and recieved a defective part, requested rma to ship and they said i had to pay for shipping, it is still under warranty. made no attempt to make it right, will be sending back board for exchange but for the most part i would not reccomend dealing with their company."

"I was looking to purchase a new laptop without having to pay for an operating system. Of course I could have gotten something like a Dell with only the cheapest possible software installed, but the price here was much better. The order went off fine, and the company sent me a DHL tracking number to follow my shipment. The computer arrived three days early, but through FedEx, not DHL. Much as that confused me, I have been very happy with my computer so far.

Very recently, however, I have been having hard drive problems. This is Toshiba's fault, not Leadcomp's, but I still need to deal with Leadcomp for tech support and RMA services. I have never had to use tech support before, being a rather skilled computer user, so I have nothing to compare theirs to. I think the tech support is terrible, but if it's average, everyone in the world needs to work on their tech support. Outsourcing has provided me with tech support that is lazy and does not speak my language very well, over extremely poor phone lines.

However, aside from the tech support issues, I would definately buy from them again.
