"This course is definitely better than trying to practice signs and finger spelling in a mirror. The drawings in other books are difficult to interpret. Finally a way to see how the signs are formed! I am taking an ASL class and the instructor shows the signs once and expects the students to remember after only one exposure. I am an ESL instructor and students need at least 20 exposures to a word to make it sink in. This course allows me to see how the words are formed and to repeat it as many times as I like until I finally "get it.""

First, I am not sure what the # before a word means and second you some times put a + or a ++ or even a +++ could you explain the meaning of these symbols? "Deaf people need subtitles.
Also, when someone is supposed to be teaching Sign, they should gesticulate like mad when they are talking; it distracts like mad. One doesn't know if she's trying to Sign or if she's just untrained in front of a camera, high on caffeine or what. Even had there BEEN subtitles, I'd have been too distracted by her mad and rapid hand motions one of the most deeply nervous people I'd ever seen. It was a complete waste of time and I'm relieved that my money was returned so fast."
