"Purchased a helmet and when I received it, the mfg date was from 4 yrs 11 months ago. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation says helmets should be replaced every 3 yrs due to material breakdown. Most helmet manufactures recommend replacing helmets every 3-5 yrs for the same reasons. I wrote Leather Up regarding this and they did not offer a refund or anything! They said I could send it back for a refund, but I would have to pay for return shipping. They are more concerned about making a buck, instead of safety of their customers!"
"The vest I ordered was a size larger than I usually order, which is a size larger than I usually wear, It was a XXL and was so tight I could only wear a T-Shirt under it which would be a problem since I will ride to about 22* or so if not wet. The helmet I ordered showed signs of coming apart in one place at time of shipment. I have purchased other items from them and have been satisfied but this time not so much."
