I'm 6'2" tall, 165-170lbs, and purchased a size Large.

This jacket, while a little stiff from being so new (I assume), fits well and looks great. It's long enough for my arms and tall torso, doesn't ride up my wrists if I reach forward, and the bottom back hem is long enough to reach the top of my pants. It has enough easily-accessible pockets for any reasonably-sized defensive item(s) you may feel necessary to carry, and many extra pockets for phone, maps, and anything else. With the jacket laying on a table, it was a simple 3-minute removal and replacement of the inner lining and pads, which I attempted just to see how difficult it would be.

This jacket is probably a little more beefy than I would want to wear off of the motorcycle for any length of time, but from a safety standpoint, that's to be expected.

Would buy again.

"Double check the sizing chart and your measurements . According to my measurements the large helmet should have been a little loose. The helmet was way too small! Also the item is advertised as being far less bulky than normal half helmets with its sleek thin padding, simply not true. You will look a lot like toad the Mario character wearing this item. "

"Confused about my "CATCHY" title? Please allow me to explain. First off....I've dealt with Leatherup.com before, and I gave them an "A" then, they certainly deserved it. I found them to be a company that offers some really COOL biker/hot-rod shirts that I cannot find anywhere else, and retails them extremely low prices. I'm not kidding about that! When I ordered from them online via PayPal (I love PayPal), I then actually forgot about the order until just a few days later....my order arrives at my doorstep...Cool!! I tore the box open and there were my shirts! I first looked them over closely for any factory flaws, and found none. Next, I tried them on, and they all fit perfectly. I read the washing instructions and threw them in my washing machine. The instructions called for a delicate / cold wash and a cold rinse with a low heat tumble dry. They came out of the dryer looking absolutely stunning! I was SO IMPRESSED, that when an email alert came thru from Leatherup.com announcing a sale, I ordered again. This time it's a vest, but unfortunately...even ordering a XX-LG...it's way too small. SO...it has to be returned. This is when I'll find out what kind of company I'm dealing with....how they handle my return. Actually, I have a hunch that Leatherup.com will be upbeat and hassle-free in the way they handle my return. Like I wrote at the beginning of this...."We shall see". Once I complete this item return....I'll report back to this forum. I wish to thank Leatherup.com for the opportunity to publicly tip my hat to what I think is a great company. "Great quality and spot on fitment to size. Long strap can be cut short with a sharp pair of scissors and then burn the end to melt and keep the strap from fraying. The helmet was too shiny for my taste so I used comet cleaner on a sponge to dull the finish. Just wiped around a few times and it is just like matte finish. i didn't get the matte finish helmet because another helmet I have seen by another company had the matte coating come off. So, to sum it all up - after a few modifications to the strap and finish, I have my perfect helmet. Thanks LeatherUp. Price was good and shipping was quick!!!"
