It is a 3-way mesh jacket with waterproof removable liner and a quilted vest removable liner. It also had armor in the shoulders, elbows and back. The jacket fit great with the exception of the arms that were just too tight with the armor in place - and I have skinny arms. However, I removed the arm armor and it is now very comfortable and very cool when riding both literally and fashion wise."
