"I've been using LensesRx.com since 2018. Purchased numerous prescription glasses from them. Always have received great service, and great products. Just received my new glasses (Dragon Optical DR9003 Matte Black) and they are perfect! Highly recommend LensesRx.com for your eyewear needs!"
"The glasses were perfect, and the company was very responsive and quick. Even though I had delivery issues, they tracked the status of the glasses and resent. "
"I am so frustrated. I paid $30 extra for fast shipping b/c my glasses broke and I needed to replace my current frames until my next eye dr. appt. I paid and extra $30 to have express shipping. I ordered on June 23rd. I did not receive my frames until July 5th! I could understand if they needed to put RX lenses in. But, they only had grab the frames and ship them. On top of that the website forces you to pay for $5 clear plastic lenses that you're just going to toss. No way around it. When I asked, on June 29th, where my order was. They told me it would shipped out the next day via express. 6 days is express??? Wow. Just wow. I want my $35 back!"
"I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience with LensesRx. I am a returning customer. They offer excellent solutions for my optical needs. I had lenses replaced because of changed prescriptions. It was easy and quick to do. When I talked by phone to customer service they were professional and friendly. I highly recommend them."
"This Is a scam Stay away from this clowns "
"I must've had ten pairs done by these guys over the years, and always gotten a perfect pair of glasses.
I've gotten sunglasses, new glasses, old glasses with fitted new lenses, for me and my partner both. "
"They took my order and charged my card. Next, they cancelled my order, but the refund didn't appear in my Bank. Requested proof of the refund yet they just ignored my request. That's how bad their customer service is."
"Be very careful if you buy from these people. Their lab seems to do a good job making lenses, but in my opinion they can't be trusted!
I was looking for a specific model of progressive lens (Varilux Physio W3+). They only sell one Physio on their site, but there are about 12 different Physio models out there and they don't specify which one it is, so I emailed them and asked if it was the Physio W3+. They replied that it was. They were offering a 25% discount, which gave me a great price, so I ordered them. Just to be sure, I put a note in my order that referenced the email and said that I was confirming that I was getting the W3+ lenses.
When I received my glasses back with the new lenses from LensesRX, there were cards enclosed from the manufacturer verifying that the lenses were in fact Varilux, and that they had a Crizal coating, which is what I ordered, but I wanted to make sure the model I received was the W3+.
What many people don't know is that most progressive lenses have tiny engraved markings that identify which manufacturer and model the lens is. The markings are difficult to see, but they're there. If you do a search for "progressive lens identifiers" you'll find information about how to see them, as well as a link to The Vision Council's EPIC database of symbols.
So i looked at the identifier markings and found that the lenses were not the Physio W3+ lenses, rather they appeared to be Physio DRx lenses, which don't have the advanced technology that the W3+ lenses have and are significantly less expensive: I'd estimate the price difference to be about $80 based on looking at quite a few web sites.
I immediately emailed LensesRX saying that what I received wasn't what I ordered and asking how they wanted to handle the problem.. I didn't get a response, so the following day I called and left a detailed message on their voicemail (they don't take "live" incoming calls; you can only leave a message and they'll return your call). I got no response to my call, so the following day I wrote them a somewhat less pleasant email, saying that I'd rather work out the problem with them than to go to the trouble of filing a dispute with my credit card company.
This time they responded. They didn't offer an explanation or offer to replace the DRx lenses with W3+ lenses, but to their credit, they made good on the guarantee on their website and offered to refund my payment and pay for return shipping since I wasn't happy with the lenses, so that's what I did. The lenses are still in transit back to them, but they said the credit will be issued when they receive them.
So, other than a lot of aggravation and wasted time, I came out whole. And while the lenses seemed to be well-made with my correct prescription, and I respect them for standing behind their guarantee, they never gave me a believable explanation of why I didn't receive what I ordered. I can't help but wonder if the same thing has happened to other people. If I wasn't aware of the engraved marking system, I never would have known that what I received wasn't what I ordered.
Let the buyer beware, as the saying goes

"I ordered a pair of silhouette frames from LensesRX because I broke one of the arms on my frames. I actually ordered them based on the numbers that were on the inside of one of the arms. I spoke with LensesRX prior to purchasing and was assured that my existing lenses would fit based on all the numbers matching. I received the frames in a timely manner otherwise they would have received a 1 star. Anyway, once the frames arrived I tried to put my lenses into the frames and they would not fit at all. I sent photos to their customer service and they did offer to accept them as a return; however, now I'm paying shipping to return an item for an issue with a frame that was not my fault at all. I also was shorted $3.99 on my return, which I have no idea what that is. I thought about calling them but my time is way more valuable.
I would never recommend this company to anyone else that is purchasing frames or lenses. The only thing they offered to do was make lenses for my prescription. Well the glasses were new and I did not need lenses. First and last time I will use this company."
"This is about the 4th or 5th time that I have ordered either my prescription glasses or sunglasses from them. Very satisfied with their services. Will continue to purchase from them."
" I got my lenses/frames back in just a few days even though I chose "low priority" shipping! The quality is excellent and I'm very happy! They even tightened up my vintage frames so they felt like new. Great value, Great Service, Fast shipping!"
"Was hesitant at first about sending in my antique Oakley Minute sunglasses for prescription lens replacement. NO WHERE else was even willing to place lenses in the frame. LensesRX did so, with QUALITY work, and PERFECT symmetry. I love these sunglasses once again as I did when I originally purchased them so long ago. A HUGE shout out to LensesRX and their team. I will certainly use their services again, and recommend them to every eye glass wearer I know! I found it competitive in pricing compared to chain stores locally. I think it was every bit worth the wait for the end product (and the wait was only about 2 weeks total) from the time I sent the frames, to receiving them completed!"
"I had a pair of glasses that I cherished. They were ideal for my vision. I wore them everyday and was thankful to have them. But they were old-er. I knew one day soon something was going to happen to them. So I thought I'd better be pro-active and go get my eyes checked and get a new pair of glasses. BOY oh boy I didn't know what I was asking for! I had paid out a lot of money...going to various optical stores that we all see advertised on television. I received eye exams and when they made me new glasses they were horrible! I couldn't see out of them..let alone read through them. Twice this happened. I was fit to be tied as I knew my beloved old glasses weren't long for this earth. WHAT was I going to do?? Well then worst came to worst. My beloved glasses' frames broke in half. They were pretty delicate frames and when I went to wash them at the kitchen sink they decided that was their D-Day. LUCKILY..I went online and found LensesRX. They are Miracle Workers.. I kid you not!! Not only did they copy EXACTLY my beloved lenses but they put my frames back together so I could wear them!!..all at an inexpensive fee! I have them on as we speak!! You don't know what it's like when you are looking thru glasses that you just had made and they are no good! I received my LensesRX glasses back today in the mail and I cried when I put them on. I could SEE AGAIN!!! There's nothing like having your sight back!! Guys at LensesRX please accept my greatest most humble thank you. Words are not sufficient when you have restored someones sight. As Mohammed Ali once said ..You are the GREATEST!! Thanks again and keep up the excellent work!!"
"Short story: scratched my new glasses, went to eye doctor where I purchased and they wanted nearly $400 for ONE replacement lense. Decided to check out LensesRX (not for the first time) to get a price on an identical pair and it was half the price of a replacement lense! ...then I scratched those two days in! LensesRX repaired or replaced the lenses at no expense to me and have earned a customer for life. I'm not usually prone to this kind of damage to glasses, but I take comfort in knowing where I can locate my next pair and the pair after that! "
"This is the fourth time I have ordered from them. The lenses are always high quality and accurately made. The price is outstanding. My most recent purchase was $209 for a highly complex set of lenses including progressives and prism. That was the entire cost including expedited processing and shipping. The cost for these same lenses was going to be $800 if I had purchased them locally. These lenses had to be crafted carefully because of the complexity of my eye issues. A small error would render them ineffective. I have four orders and four times the lenses have been excellent. It's worth waiting a little time to have to go to through shipping in order to pay only 25% of the local cost for the same high quality lenses."
