"I am extremly dispointed with this service up to now.

I order a Canon 24-70mm for 3 days with a before 12noon delivery. I then rang up to change my delivery to before 9am before they sent the lens out to me, as I had been called into work at the last minute and would be leaving the house at around half 9. They said this is prefectly ok and they processed it through for me.

I then got a phone call on the day of delivery at around 8:30 in the morning from the courier, who went on to tell me that the lens had be delivered to the wrong distrubution centre. I don't understand how on earth this could happen, but the courier they use must be highly un-organised.

I then arranged with them that the lens could be delivered to my work place, which I didnt really want to happen, as I am not really supposed to take deliveries at work. I was also told the delivery wont arrive at my work place until around 1pm, so thats 4 hours after when I wanted it to arrive by and at a different address.

I then went on to tell the courier and lens for hire that I refuse to pay for the delivery, they accepted this and lenses for hire told me that I would not have to pay for any delivery. I then found out after looking over my bank statements that they had charged me for the full delivery and the extra for the before 9am after they said they wouldnt. At this current time lenses for hire owe me £21 and I havnt heard from them for over 2 weeks.

I am chasing up the problems with them at the moment, but up to now without sucess.

I will never use lenses for hire ever again. And it's a shame really as I really enjoyed using the lenses that I have hired from them.

The main problem is the courier they use. They are absolutly rubbish. The last time I ordered from them, the courier missed my before noon delivery too. Deadlines doesnt seem to be their strong point...?"
