"Lenses for Hire was recommended to me by a fellow tog at the Southern 100 races 2009, I checked out the website and decided to hire a 300mm 2.8 Canon lens to cover the TT Races 2010.
Ordering the lens was easy and the whole rental process went without a hitch.
The lens was as you would expect from a rental company, a few cosmetic scratches on the tripop mount and lens cap but the lens itself was perfect and came in a locked padded box.
Struggled with a monopod but that was down to me not the lens.
The photos taken were a step up from my own 300mm f4 and overall I was delighted with the results.
After two weeks of work I reluctantly had to send it back, but it was great value for money and I will use Lenses for Hire again in the future.
Communications by email were excellent and I wish all companies were as efficient.
My only problem was because of the size I have to use my car instead of the motorbike, but a small price to pay.
