Its important to for you to just give these guys a try, they offer the chance to use gear that you would not ever dream of using. Through them, I am able to try different types of photography, I told myself for years that there was no difference between a Nikon costing 1400 and a sigma costing 230, well now I know and I am a better photgrapher for it.

It's great having these guys offering this type of service (ver effective and inexpensive), the motivation behind my order had to do with a test drive I wanted to do with a lens, which I'm currently looking forward to buy.

Good lenses are expensive and having the chance to play with it before you spend a whole bundle of money is the way to go (IMHO).

I strongly recommend their service to whoever like me is taking photos for fun and doesn't want to jump straight into buying something before testing it. Professionals might have a larger budget and might think this is not needed, but if you are on the other end of the scale, where each penny matters, you will probably be better off playing with the lens before spending a lot on it and eventually not being what you expected.

"When my Canon 100-400L became faulty just before a 2 week birding trip to Spain, I turned to Lenses for Hire after finding them on the Canon POTN forum. Nothing was a problem for them and Stuart sorted me out in double quick time and I was able to hire the lens for 3 weeks till mine was returned from the repair shop. The lens I had on hire was probably the best copy of this lens I have ever used, sharp as a tack at all focal lengths and apertures. "Ive already recommended these guys to some friends who have already hired lenses from them. They offer an excellent service, the lens I ordered arrived early the day before my hire period was due to start in an impressive protective case with a copy of the canon instruction manual and lens hood and came fitted with a protective filter.
Unfortunately the lens was faulty but a quick phone call and they sorted me out with a replacement lens in no time and tacked on the days I'd lost out to the end of my hire period. I really cant rate them highly enough, the service is fast and friendly and they really go all out to help you.
