"The lens arrived earlier than expected on the day before hire commenced, this is a great idea as it gives you time to acclimatise to the new equipment.
Not only do you get the lens but the case to safely carry it in and the filter was already attached.
As expected the len performed brilliantly and it was the perfect way to try a product before buying, but I feel I will hire it more often as it proves to be, in my view the perfect and cost effective way of "owning when required" a lens of this type 100-400 Canon L series. You will always get the up to date kit, don't have to find a secure place to store it, for the time you are not carrying it. To insure this lens if I bought it would have increased my photographic Insurance premiums considerably. If I were a professional I would obviously be using this lens more and purchasing would be cost effective. But I am not and this hire system is perfect. It reallty is the complete lens hire package. Returning could not be easier, with options to suit anyone.
