"Other suppliers have been Nickle and Diming adding a few dollars here and there for delivery. I understand shipping is expensive but don't insult me by trying to sneak charges onto my order.
This DOES NOT happen with LexJet and their service is amazing. When problems arise my Rep Matt Rosenkrantz addresses the issue.

"Ran out of black ink on Sunday night. The printer manufacturer was out of stock. Found what I needed on LexJet. Ordered a cartridge Monday AM. It was delivered Tuesday AM. Immediately loaded the printer and made 10 cards. Delivered cards to the customer before 1PM Tuesday.

"I ordered an HP Printer and Cutter along with inks from the website. I was excited that LexJet offered free shipping on every order, or at least that is what is advertised on every page.

The order was placed on 4/5/22, with an expected delivery of 4/7 for the inks and 4/14 for the printer. Both very much needed for a huge upcoming print job. I received a call the next day inquiring if I had a loading dock or forklift. I have neither, so the LexJet associate said they would have to send a truck with a fork lift to unload the package. This would come with a reasonable charge of $150.

I was taken aback when I received a call from the same LexJet associate two days later stating that I would need to pay another $1500 in order to ship the printer. Almost a week later, I had now found myself in a position where I would not get the printer until 4/18-4/22. Due to the urgent need of the printer, I had no choice but to pay the "Free Shipping" fee.

I had inquired when the inks would arrive, and was told these would be added to the freight. When asked why they will not make the advertised date of 4/7, all I received was an apology. When asked why they would not ship the ink and the cutter separately for free not adding any unnecessary weight and cost to the freighted printer, I did not receive any answer.

Beware that the shipping may not be free as advertised when ordering from ordering from this company.

"My print production line was down... needed one part to get back up and running. Rep PROMISED it was in stock. I asked him to check again, he did and assured me it was in stock and that I would have it the next day. "Wow!" I thought... "very impressive". I even ordered several hundred dollars work of supplies out of gratitude and told him I would be a loyal customer from that point on.

You guessed it. Next day, the part does not arrive (although the several hundred dollars worth of other stuff did). And the irony is that I could not use all the other supplies that showed up because my printers were still down without that one part. They had lots of excuses about how the rep could not see the warehouse levels and that the product there was already allocated. Excuse me, but isn't that what an inventory system is supposed to do...let you know what's actually available? Seriously.

Then they gave me a hard time about returning the other supplies, threatened restocking fees and such. It would almost be better if this was human error, but it wasn't. It's a systemic problem with how they track inventory and process orders.

Never again.
