My wife and I joined Liberty in March of 2016. I had reservations because it was not insurance. In October of 2016 my wife fell and broke her kneecap. Even though we had to pay for some services upfront, Libery has been great with getting our refund to us as soon as the providers summited the proper paperwork.
Once the providers realized that Liberty was prompt with payments, we had no trouble with the providers wanting advance payment.
All of the customer service personal at Liberty are first rate. Very nice people willing to go the extra mile to explain how the process works and assist with problems.

"I love this concept. it's a great alternative to traditional health insurance but I've had issues with getting claims processed in a timely fashion, mainly due to human error. Had to make many phone calls to resolve issues and every person I spoke to told me something different. Once they got it straightened out my claims were paid but took a lot of effort on my part. This happened on two separate occasions.
I'm hoping these are just growing pains and that they will eventually get their act together because it's truly a tremendous savings over health insurance.
Only other issue is that it's hard to find providers who will accept assignment. They say to call the patient relations department and have them contact the doctor you want to go to. I did that but they weren't very much help. These are the reasons why I can only give 3 stars. "
