"I read good things about this reseller from the gamefaqs.com message board, and they didn't disappoint. The shipping rate was high, but I was expecting it since I was ordering from a Hong Kong based company and shipping it to the US. I went with the more expensive shipping option; it was $14 for 7-30 days arrival time and $22 for 2-4 days.
I ordered it April 27th, 2003, but I decided I wanted to think about it after I made the purchase. Their website allowed me to cancel the order easily online. After I decided that I was making the right purchase, I went back to that order and simply reactivated it. I was worried that this would severely slow down processing time, but the package was shipped the 30th and it arrived May 2. I'd say that the extra money for shipping was worth it.
My Japanese Gameboy Advance SP came well packaged. It also included some freebies like a free DVD featuring upcoming (although most games are out since the DVD is a bit dated) games, five cool stickers, and a limited edition copy of IGNreview. It was a nice freebie for them to throw in.
A few notes about the website: It was updated when it was shipped, but they didn't tell me any tracking information in between. I checked it three days later while not at home and noticed that it had been updated, with the location being "FRT DOOR." This is the only thing that somewhat dissatisfied me.
Despite my previous note, their website is top-notch. I can log in and see my previous order, view the invoice with or without shipping information, and see the UPS tracking information.
If they have a product I really want that I don't mind paying extra shipping and handling for, I would definitely buy from them again."
"I am extremely happy with my experience with lik-sang. I ordered on the 29th, the order is sitting on my doorstep in Utah on the 1st. The price was a bit more than you would pay here in the states, but the only reason you would go with them anyway is for importing items. So, I say their prices are good over, speed is fantastic, they kept me updated on my order, and the shipping was very professional. I will not hesitate to buy from them again."
"I bought a XBOX VGA box from them. Paid $50 for the box and $20 for ups shipping. Package arrived fast, but item was defective. Now I have pay to ship this thing back to Asia and have then send me another one. This will take about 1 month. I would stay away from them next time because these are cheap products and are often defective. Try to buy this stuff from a dealer in the USA so you can send them back easier. "
"Lik sang is a good all around good retailer. They have many import Japan video game goods to sell. I've ordered many things from them with much satisfaction. I've ordered a GBASP from them the on the 3/15 in fact. Though thier prices are a bit high, they are a good retailer"
"I ordered a replacement AC Adapter for my gamecube that would work for mt US gamecube in Europe. I was told this product was in stock, and would be shipped immediatly. When I had not recieved an email confirming shipment 3 days later, I emailed them. They replied saying "Your product will be shipped later today." After 3 more days, I tried emailing again, and was never responded to. And since then, I have not been responded to. My credit Card was Charged on the dya of the order. It is now two weeks after I purched the product, yet I still have not recieved an email saying it will be delivered, much less my product. I am very disappointed in this company and their customer service policies."
"I ordered a few things from Lik Sang last week. I hadn't dealt with them before, but I'd heard about them asking for copied of CC before (which they do apparently only the first time you order from them), but I didn't want to deal with that, so I paid via PayPal. I paid for the EMS shipping, and I'm really glad I did. I got my order much quicker than I thought I would, in fact the delivery showed up on a Sunday, my jaw dropped to the floor. I'm very happy with my experience with them and would order from them if they had what I wanted and/or had a good price."
"I ordered a ps2 system from them.
The first thing they wanted from me was a copy of the front and back of my credit card.
I did not feel good about sending them this. They also said if they did not receive a reply with in 5 days my order would "time out" and my credit card would NOT be billed.
I didn't reply, and brought a ps2 somewhere else.
Then, I went on vacation for a week and when I got back. I had an email from Lin-sang stating my order was send out. I replied back to stop the order before it left the country, but they said it was too late.
I called my credit card company and told them about it and they are working on it.
Here is what lin-sang is going to try next. He will what to bill me for shipping to and from his company 69.00 x 2 = $138.00 plus, relevant charges of import duties. What ever that is.
I when back and read their TERM OF SALE. It states if you order from them they do not make any of the products so if it does not work. They will not not make representations or warranties of any kind in relation to the item.
Here is a copy of the email they send me.
Dear Mark,
I am sorry for the confusion. As mentioned in our email, we will wait for
either a reply from you or from your bank. Although we did not receive your
reply, we have finally received a confirmation from your bank, so your order
has been activated on July 30 and was sent out on July 31.
We have received your previous email on August 2, however, because order has
been shipped out, we are unable to cancel it at this stage.
If you do not want to accept the shipment, we can arrange to give you a
refund partially. Please let me explain that if consignee does not accept a
shipment, we still have to pay for the shipping cost and relevant charges of
import duties. Apart from that, we also need to pay for the cost of
returning the parcel back to Hong Kong. So, we can give you a refund after
deducting the shipping cost(including the cost of sending it out and getting
it back) plus relevant charges of import duties.
Again, I sincerely apologize for the trouble and inconvenience caused.
Please kindly advise the arrangement you would prefer by clicking on the
"reply" button. Thank you.
With kind regards,
Ada Li

"I pre-ordered a Flash Advance Xtreme 512M Ready To Go Set from Lik-Sang and they promised it would be in stock the following week. Unfortunately, the manufacturer decided to delay it for a month. It's not Lik-Sang's fault directly, but they failed to give its customers enough information or an explanation about what was going on! Not only that, they charge your credit card before the product is in stock! I emailed inquiries about the product, and they replied in a patronizing way, often failing to address the major issues. Anyway, after four weeks of waiting, my order finally shipped. It took four days on EMS (quick, but VERY expensive, I paid $22 to ship something that weighs less than a pound). All in all, pre-orders SUCK at Lik-Sang, but if you're getting something that's in stock and you can't find it anywhere else, Lik-Sang is the best place to go. "
"Their site is slow and their shipping rates are extremely high (understandable since they're in Hong Kong). If you live in the US, don't go with these guys unless you can't find what you need anywhere else. You'll either end up paying alot on shipping, or waiting a really long time (or both). What's more, when you choose their cheapest shipping which they simply call "GLOBAL_PRIORITY", they give you a tracking number that is entirely bogus. They don't tell you what company they're using to ship, the number doesn't work in any online site i've tried, and the on-site tracking they promise doesn't exist. Lying to customers is NOT GOOD PRACTICE. Like i said, unless you can't find it elsewhere, stay completely away from this company."
"Ordered some storage media from them and a screen saver for a game boy advanced (so that way the screen doesn't get damaged). These were all birthday gifts to someone.
Very professional place. Shipping was quick (considering they are in Hong Kong) and was reasonable. Probably not worthwhile for small shipments, since it will be high, but if you are spending $100 or more, it's worthwhile.
Shipping for me, airmail express was about 27 dollars. Not bad since my order itself was 121.49 and I did get it in about 3 days.
It was professionally packed, probably the nicest packing job I've ever seen. Everything worked great."
