"I previously purchased a logitech mouse with hyperscrolling that I have been using for quite a while now. Recently the rubber piece in the middle stretched out preventing the wheel from rotating properly, or at all at some points. Even though the device was out of warranty logitech replaced it for me without a problem. I didnt have to even send in my mouse and wait for a replacement, they shipped the new one advanced and I couldnt be happier with their service. I have had logitech mice for over 10 years now, and this is one of the reasons why. "
"Logitech has to be one of the best companies selling computer accessories. I have so many Logitech products and have been happy with every single one of them.
What I think is great is their warranty support. I never used a company warranty for any purchase I ever made. If it didnt work within 30 days I would exchange it, anything after that I just bought a new one.
In this case I decided to try their email support for my Logitech Harmony Universal 880 remote as I was having an issue with it and I was almost a year into my warranty. Their emails were very friendly, and I got a reply in under an hour! After some simple troubleshooting they sent out a replacement remote via 2 day air at no charge. You simply cannot beat that level of service.
So I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Logitech for the great emails from knowledgeable staff. No letters from "Bob" overseas, just simple and easy to read troubleshooting in plain English. Logitech customer for life here! "

"I agree with firebyyrd, Logitech support staffs are very nice. I have a two years old MX610, I have problem with left button click. I called the support. They also send me a replacement without any problem, though they did ask me to fax them my receipt."
"Wow, I have to say with Logitech I've encountered one of the best warranties/customer service in quite a while.
My G7 side button stopped working and I called their general support line, getting through within a minute. The guy was cheery and helpful, I describe the problem and he tells me right away that they'll ship a replacement.
The only thing he needed was the model #, part #, etc. and he told me it'll take 7 business days to ship me a brand new one!
This is amazing, they didn't even need to check my receipt and didn't question/hassle me in anyway.
Just wanted to let Logitech know, and everyone, that they are the best in warranty/customer service :) I'm a happy customer!!"
"Worst CS ever! Called four times already!
Got a defective unit and called for help, and the pain just started. The first time I called, CSR said the system (database) was down, and he took a note of my problem saying he would put it in once the system went back on. A couple of days later, the second call made me realize that the first time was just a waste of time as I had to explain everything again, and the guy put me on hold for over 15 mins for God-knows reason, and I had to hang up. The third time, the guy said again that the system was down (!!!!) and he couldn't do anything about it, not to mention I had to explain the situation all over again. Asked for supervisor, and was put on hold for over 10min. Had to call the fourth time, gave the guy case # and asked for supervisor, he came back saying that nobody was available. When I asked if he was able to see any record from the case #, he asked for the case # again!!!!
Hate to type out all these details, but this was what made me so frustrated and furious! Worst CS ever! Will not do business with them unless I absolutely have to, though they do have some good products out there.
Edit: Finally reached a nice CSR, and they sent me a replacement. It really took me quite some time and energy though..."

Probably the best products I've ever used/sold. I always look at their products first.
HOWEVER
They are also probably the WORST ever as far as support goes.
I realize they are huge and have all these excuses...but....if you need support or have questions and need to contact them, forget it. They could care less and most likely won't respond; which is why I still look hard at their products, but always try to find another comparable product. "
"This store is a scam. I ordered a web-cam which said it was ready to ship. Next day I received an email telling me it was backordered, that if I wished to cancel I could reply to the email. I immediately replied saying cancel the order and bought the camera at a better price at Best Buy. Now 10 days later I get an email saying "your camera has shipped". I waited on hold 15 minutes to be told, tough luck for you you can return it after it arrives but you have to pay the shipping and you have to call us back and wait on hold to get an authorization number. I am going to try to fight this charge through my credit card company first. Don't buy from this company!!"
"Logitech makes some damn good stuff... I have the Logitech Z5300e's ... and a dual optical mouseman, MX510 ..... and a normal Logitech ball mouse
the logitech ball mouse is almost 10 years old and works better than the dell optical mouse I got for free o.0 figure that one out LOL
they make a fantastic product, though I have no experience dealing with faulty products from them so I can't comment about their return policies. SOlid products though... their optical mice are built like tanks THOUGH I am a little dissapointed to the the MX500, MX510 and MX518(due May 5th) are identical in almost every way in design.. (just added a few little features and jacked the price up)
come on logitech show some creativity! :) then again I should talk... I own a MX510 and that MX518 looks just way to good to pass up...
also they make by far the best keyboards i've ever used... every product they got just seems to work fantastic and usually half the price than the more popular name brands"
"I always thought of Logitech being a good company, but now I must change my opinion. I bought a faulty set of speakers from them, the z680. They hissed no matter what I did to them. So I called and got an RMA. I sent them in on November 27 (only says 1/1/05 on the side becuase they would not let me review something from last year)and after I sent them back I discovered that they no longer make them. So I called they said that they will ship me the z5500, in 5-10 days. So I said being without speakers for 5-10 days should not be so bad. I call back in 10 days and they said that they are on back order, but not to worry they get a shipment every 2 weeks, so another 2 week I would have to wait. So until now I have been waiting 4 months later. I will repeat 4 MONTHS LATER. I still have not gotten anything back, I will advise any buyer to watch out. Logitech may not seem as good as you think."
"Well just got off the phone with Logitech and couldn't be happier. I had a problem with my z-680s last night and so I called up Logitech and explained the problem. It took them a few minutes to check out what is covered and infect mine problem was. The guy told me that I should be receiving a new set in 7-10 business days. The other thing you will need when you call is the QC# which in this case was on the button of my subwoofer. And beware cause the number you have to call is a 702 number which is in California. Otherwise these guys take care of their customers!"
"I purchased this Logitech Elite keyboard, after searching for the Microsoft model and one under 40.00$ After all of the stores I went to Wal-Mart, there it sat, the only one left, marked down to 30.00$ because it's cardboard case was ripped, I got it and it's the best purchase for my computer thus far, the one time tech support with Logitech went seamlessly, I can safely say this may be the best keyboard on the market today, Thank you Logitech for creating it."
"I purchased a Logitech diNovo keyboard and mouse combo from CircuitCity in August only to discover the media pad and bluetooth hub are defective. I phoned Logitech tech support for help, and after having to deal with the WORST automated customer service I finally reached a technician who was completely belligerent. After determining it needed to be replaced the technician disconnected my call. After waiting for a return call I phoned back to find customer support closed. The next morning a tech agent Bob was very pleasant in handling my situation. I was informed the replacement would be sent to me and when it is I should send the defective unit back. Three weeks later - nothing. I spent the better part of my afternoon trying to reach someone and was met with busy signals, disconnects and finally a service agent who swore. Hanging up, I decided to call CircuitCity who was just as rude and told me I had no choice but to deal with Logitech since it's past the 30 day return and exchange policy. Is THIS what Customer Service has come to??? Finally I phoned Logitech back and was connected to Margie who was sweet but said I needed to send my items first and once they have been received they will mail my replacements. On a keyboard and mouse combo that cost $250 and was defective from the beginning!!!!??? I will never buy another Logitech product again. They rate a big flat 0! :)"
