"Glock 43X melt
I had two 43X slides milled for Holosuns 507K. They received them on Thursday and I got them back 6 actual days later (Wednesday). They did a perfect job and charged me nearly half the fee others asked with a 6-8 week turnaround. Outstanding!

"I have been a Professional Gunsmith for over 40 years at my shop here in Knoxville,TN. Most parts I have been getting from Brownell's or Ghost or Storm Lake. I had a customer bring in a Glock 20- 10mm and wanted a lone wolf barrel and trigger kit ordered and installed. OK, I said, and suggested a KKM barrel because I have had excellent results from them. Nope, wanted Lone Wolf. I ordered the barrel and parts from lone wolf. Well, after a good while the order came in and that's when everything went to hell. The barrel shot everything a foot high, the connector kits were missing the trigger springs and the parts do not function as described. such as full length guide rod assembly. the prices were not right either. I called customer service and spoke to Torey Zook, nice enough but no help on products or prices, she explained it was my fault because She didn't here me say kit; which I did. I sent the barrel back so no telling how long that will take to get one that shoots point of aim. My customer is furious because he leaves for a hunt in Alaska in mid-Feb. Listen to me people, if you want to keep your sanity and not break the bank for Glock parts and want a barrel that shoots straight and not deal with Idiot's on the phone. DON'T BUY from Lone Wolf. I will go back to Ghost & Brownell's. I told the customer he made a very bad mistake wanting a Lone Wolf Barrell. Now he understands. That was my first and LAST experience with Lone Wolf. T.L. "Called spoke with representative about all the parts needed to finish my lower the rep was nice and put the parts I needed on order thought all was good. Took 2 months to get parts then when I go to install them it was the incorrect part set so I contacted them by email and was told I would have to purchase a totally different set."
"Placed an order with them and after three days never received any email communication. They never sent an order confirmation or receipt or anything. I emailed them and got a couple responses with a lot of attitude and still have not answered my question about my order! Last emailed came back saying that it’s my fault for providing the wrong email address which is not true! The email coming from Jgriffin was rude and he clearly has no idea how to run a business or respond to paying customers! Will never place an order with them again or will I recommend them to any of my military friends! "
"Approximately one-week subsequent to shipping my Glock-30 to Lone Wolf for a "slide-melt picatinny rail" modification, I received a phone call from James Griffin of Lone Wolf Distributors stating their machine used to mill the slide on my Glock had malfunctioned and inadvertently destroyed the slide. James assured me that Lone Wolf would do whatever was necessary to compensate me for the damaged weapon. Subsequent to discussing various options concerning the Glock-30, I suggested replacing the damaged Glock with a new Glock-19 MOS. James discussed this recommendation with the Lone Wolf staff and they agreed. I shipped my Glock-30 lower receiver and magazines to Lone Wolf and in return they shipped a new Gen-4 Glock-19 MOS within a week to my preferred FFL dealer. Though I was somewhat disheartened by the milling malfunction to my Glock-30 as it was a blue-label law enforcement "memory" - nostalgia from my son, I wanted to document the fact that Lone Wolf and James Griffin went the extra-mile to make things right and did so in a timely and very professional manner. Mistakes happen in life, but I respect and honor those who take care of their business, make things right and do so with professionalism. Kudos to Lone Wolf and James Griffin for their professionalism, ethics, business acumen and keeping their word. Rick H 2/26/2020"

"Dangerous gun parts are illegal to sell and I will be pursuing a lawsuit against LWD for endangering my life."
"Truly awful customer service. Darlynn Thompson is the worst offender of all. They've had a product on backorder for months, which I stupidly purchased despite knowing, and it seems like it was my monthly ritual to chat online once a week to check the status. Each week they promised that the slides were just around the corner. Finally it seemed like we were making progress and then suddenly everything changed to not knowing a thing about it. They could give me no information whatsoever. Well, wanting to escalate my concern to someone who might know something, anything at all, I was transferred to Darlynn Thompson, their lead customer service agent. Not only did she have no information at all (what is the point of customer service if I could get the same information by staring at a blank wall?) but she started to lose her temper "because I kept asking the same question" (this question was for a number of someone in a different department) which she refused to answer either affirmatively or negatively, only saying that they don't know about the backorder either (this directly contradicts what her subordinate told me, by the way). Of course that didn't matter; I didn't ask if they knew... I asked for their number. Darlynn not only typed in all caps, but insulted me, insulted my intelligence, and could not let me get a word in without interrupting. Unreal how awful she and their customer service was. Needless to say, I cancelled my order. "
"I have purchased a half dozen slides , all needed a little FITTING to work properly , including barrels . All parts are of good quality , but again need a little tweaking to function smoothly together . I have been gunsmithing for a quarter century , have had to repair , refit MANY brand new expensive weapons of all brands . I would advise all who wish to build , modify weapons to be patient or take the weapon to a competent gunsmith for your own goodto verify your projects safe and reliable functionality. Keep em in the ten ring "
"Having bought my first G80-G19 kit with LWD parts, my experience hasn't been that good. From the start, it would not eject spent casings any more than 1 out of 4. I took it back to the vendor twice and he couldn't figure it out. I finally bought another kit that used mostly OEM Glock parts, and compared between the 2 firearms. I finally figured out that 1) The extractor which was from a 9mm LWD kit barely grabbed the rim of the case, the number one issue 2) the trigger bar which was also LWD was for a gen 4 Glock and rubbed the side of the slide and frame, and 3) we had trouble getting the keepers to stay on the LWD spring and firing pin combo. I ordered a Glock OEM extractor for $19.65 and was able to get the other parts to work, and after that, it ejected just fine.
So today I called LWD to see about getting some kind of recompense on the extractor and was told that the best they could do was have me send in the faulty part, and if they found it out of spec they would send me a new one. I told them I don't need another LWD extractor and the nice lady said then basically tough luck. So much for LWD, fortunately there are plenty of other good quality parts suppliers. I'll make sure not to use any parts from LWD in the future. "
"I ordered a guide rod and recoil spring assembly from lone wolf for my glock 20 and it is 1/32 To short to fit properly on the bottom lug of the barrel and it pops up on the upper lip of the barrel and rattles around in the gun. The Guide rods tjey use for gen 4 models are actually gen 3 guide rods with an adapter on the front to fit the gen 4 frame but the back side is smaller than stock gen 4 causing it to pop up out of place in the gun. After calling them they said they thought they my have sent me the wrong part as far a the length and would check on the back of the guide rod bring the smaller gen 3 size after 2 weeks with no further response from them I called back and was told there is a 90 day warranty on the item I stated it's not a warranty issue it's the fact it's not the correct oart for my gun that their using smaller diameter gen 3 guide rods for gen 4guns and the back side will not stay in its proper place for use and glock won't warranty the gun for damage done by using wrong parts. Well he hung up on me so I guess they don't care about their customers enough to replace a $15 Guide rod that s not the right part for the correct one. Bye lone wolf and Jager products welcome as my new glock parts company."
"Ordered a clearance Alpha Wolf barrel from lone wolf Dist. The barrel would not chamber a round, so asked for my money back. They denied my request to refund my money and instead told me I would need to pay to ship it back to have it “fixed”. They “fixed” it and sent it back to me, and it still would not chamber a round. I filmed five attempts to chamber a round and sent them the video again asking for my money back. They refused to refund my money, so I sent the barrel back to them and had to file a claim with my credit card company to get my money back. Worst company i have ever had the misfortune of doing business with."
"Purchased a Polymer 80 Compact Frame and internal parts kit from them. Completed frame and installed parts kit. Managed to get one mag. thru gun with a mired of problems. Could not remove slide from frame with disassembly of slide and striker bar would not fire a round. They ask that I disassemble frame parts and return them for their inspection. I did that at my expense. When returned to me, the trigger/trigger bar was not returned. Contacted them and they found a trigger/trigger bar assy. The replacement one did not work at all. After multiple contacts with "customer service" , was basically told to stick it in my ear. As can be seen from date. It's been nearly a year."
"I ordered a parts kit which ended up having a duplicate of one item and was missing another item. I sent an e-mail to the customer support address and got a response the next day with an $0 invoice showing they were sending me the missing part. Based on other reviews here I figured I was hosed but they came through without an issue."
"I sent them my Glock 34 slide to have them do a "Slide Melt" to mount a red dot sight, and their lead time for the job is one week. 8 weeks later, they notify me that they had cut an extra channel in my slide, and at first said basically "Tough, take it as is". When I complained, they offered one of their unfinished slides for my finished Glock OEM slide. They refused to answer any questions, and gave me multiple runarounds. They only offered a refund after I filed a claim with Amex. Run away from these frauds. "
